Despite coming into the league with a reputation as a defender, Smart has shown serious progress since he entered the league. He'll likely continue to see as many minutes as he can handle for the Celtics going forward this season, and his ability to cover either guard position means coach Brad Stevens is able to play Smart alongside super-sub Isaiah Thomas in lineups as well.

Smart handed out nine dimes on Thursday, while accumulating seven points (3-7 FG, 0-2 3Pt) and two rebounds in a win over the Knicks.

Smart looked like a true point guard here, as he was driving in the lane and kicking out to shooters at will. There's not really anyone competing with Smart for point guard minutes this season and he could play upwards to 30 minutes a game, if everything falls his way. If he does reach that threshold, Smart's an absolute steal late in fantasy drafts this year.
