Anderson recorded seven points (3-5 FG, 1-2 FT) three rebounds, and one assist in 16 minutes during the Spurs' 130-99 win against the Rockets on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson earned the start as Gregg Popovich wanted to match the Rockets' small-ball starting five. Nevertheless, Anderson did not see many minutes, and he is not worth targeting in the overwhelming majority of fantasy leagues.

Anderson will start in Wednesday's game against Houston, Jonathan Feigen of the Houston Chronicle reports.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson will be getting his third start of the season on Wednesday as he fills in for an injured Tim Duncan (knee). David West had been starting for Duncan but Coach Gregg Popovich decided to go with Anderson to better match the Houston lineup. Anderson will likely see an increase in minutes but shouldn't be expected to remain in the starting lineup for longer than Wednesday night.

Anderson had seven points (3-9 FG, 1-2 FT), four rebounds, two assists, and two steals in 16 minutes during the Spurs' 120-90 loss to the Warriors on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson is capable of playing multiple positions, but the 22-year-old sophomore is averaging merely 12 minutes per game. Given his youth and general lack of playing time, Anderson is not worth targeting in fantasy this season.

Anderson registered five points (1-2 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 3-4 FT), four rebounds, and three assists across 17 minutes in Monday's 106-79 win over the Nets.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson has seen his minutes hit the teens in two of the Spurs' last three games, but both of those contests were blowouts and sandwiched a tight game against the Knicks last Friday in which Anderson didn't even play. The 22-year-old's playing time figures to remain highly volatile from game to game.

Anderson played 30 minutes in his spot start during Monday's 119-68 victory over the Spurs, but provided only seven points (2-4 FG, 3-5 FT), five rebounds, and one assist.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson filled in for the ill Kawhi Leonard at small forward and saw more playing time than any other Spur in the blowout victory, but failed to make his presence felt on the offensive end. That led to a disappointing night for anyone who chose to roll with him as a low-cost daily option, and won't help Anderson in his quest to gain playing time in more competitive contests. He's expected to assume a low-usage bench role Wednesday against the Raptors if Leonard is cleared to return from the stomach bug.

Anderson will get the start at small forward in place of Kawhi Leonard (illness) on Monday night against the 76ers, Jeff McDonald of the San Antonio Express-News reports.
EDGE Analysis
With Leonard sitting out due to a stomach virus and Tim Duncan resting, Anderson will have a chance to see extended minutes after playing only eight minutes against Boston on Saturday. The UCLA product has stepped into an increased role this season after spending much of 2014-15 in the D-League, but his workload has still been inconsistent as he continues to find his niche at the NBA level. While Anderson is a capable rebounder and well-above-average passer for his size, he's yet to prove he's a viable fantasy option on a night-to-night basis.

Anderson has averaged 2.6 points, 2.3 rebounds, 0.8 assists, and 0.4 blocks in 11 minutes for the Spurs' 2015-16 season.
EDGE Analysis
Since Anderson is behind Kawhi Leonard for small forward, his playing time has been limited as Leonard is averaging 20 minutes a game, along with Manu Ginobli averaging 20 minutes per game, who Anderson is also battling for minutes. Anderson could continue to see similar numbers for the Spurs as the season progresses.

Anderson will start in place of Kawhi Leonard (illness) Saturday, Project Spurs' Paul Garcia reports.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson, the MVP of Las Vegas summer league, will get a good opportunity to show what he can do in an extended look Saturday. He probably won't look to score much, but he has the skill set to offer across the board production. Leonard should return in a game or two.

Anderson was unable to score (0-1 FG) in his six minutes of action against the Knicks on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson is considered to be Kawhi Leonard's backup at small forward, however he has not been seeing very much time in that role. Currently, Anderson is averaging only 7.8 minutes per game through the Spurs first four games, and has scored just four points total. It's hard to imagine that Anderson will see his role increase on a Spurs team with this much veteran talent.

Anderson is averaging 5.8 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 2.4 assists on 19.9 minutes through five preseason games.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson is entering his second year in the league after a rookie campaign where he often was confined to the bench, averaging just 10.8 minutes after 33 appearances. He's in line for a jump in participation under coach Gregg Popovich, but expectations should be curbed since the 20-year-old will likely be slotted behind Tony Parker, Patty Mills, and Ray McCallum for the majority of the 2015-16 season.
