Anderson posted 14 points (6-10 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 1-2 FT), three assists, three rebounds, two blocks and a steal across 35 minutes in Monday's 112-86 win over the Nets.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson was a late addition to the starting lineup with Kawhi Leonard taking the game off to nurse a hand injury, and he took advantage with his highest scoring game of the season. Anderson will likely be back to his normal bench role soon as Leonard is expected to return for the Spurs next game against the Raptors on Tuesday.

Anderson will start at small forward for Monday's game against the Nets, Jeff McDonald of San Antonio Express-News reports.
EDGE Analysis
With Kawhi Leonard sitting out with a minor hand injury, Anderson is slated to join the starting five and should see a big bump in playing time, after averaging just 8.4 minutes so far in January. It will likely be just a one-game stint with the starters, so he should return to the bench by Tuesday's tilt with the Raptors. Along with Anderson, Jonathon Simmons will also pick up some extra time with Leonard out.

Anderson finished with seven points (2-3 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 2-2 FT) and two rebounds across 16 minutes in a 134-94 win over the Lakers on Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson picked up more extended run than usual with the Spurs racing out to a 31-point lead after three quarters, but he won't be able to bank on that happening in most games. Over the Spurs' previous five games, Anderson saw no more than eight minutes in any contest, and failed to see the floor at all in a 109-107 loss to the Bucks on Tuesday.

Anderson will get the spot start at small forward in Wednesday's game against the Suns, Jeff McDonald of the San Antonio Express-News reports.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson is filling in for Kawhi Leonard who will be getting the night off to rest. He has averaged just 3.6 points, 4.4 rebounds, 1.6 assists, and 1.1 steals in his seven previous starts this season, so although he is in the lineup, his upside will likely limited.

Anderson put up 11 points (2-4 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 6-6 FT), six rebounds, four assists and one block across 22 minutes in Tuesday's 105-91 win over the Timberwolves.
EDGE Analysis
With Manu Ginobili (rest) sitting out, Anderson was able to earn some added playing time after logging only four minutes in total over the previous two contests. While he was able to take advantage of the increased run with a strong outing, it's expected that Anderson will see his minutes cut in half or fall by the wayside entirely Thursday against the Bulls, since Ginobili will likely be available for that contest.

Anderson (coach's decision) didn't play in Friday's 109-103 win over the Celtics.
EDGE Analysis
Since Danny Green returned from a quad injury Nov. 9 to make his season debut, Anderson has dropped to the bench for all but one of the Spurs' subsequent nine games and has seen his minutes disappear almost entirely. Friday marked the second time during that nine-game span that Anderson failed to see the court, and he played less than six minutes in two other contests. It appears he's clearly the third man on the depth chart at shooting guard behind Green and Jonathon Simmons.

Anderson will return to the bench for Wednesday's game against the Rockets, Paul Garcia of Project Spurs reports.
EDGE Analysis
With Danny Green (quad) sidelined because of an injury, Anderson and Jonathon Simmons had been moving back and forth between the starting lineup. However, Green will be making his season debut Wednesday, so both Anderson and Simmons will be relegated to bench roles and should see a significant decrease in their overall minutes in the backcourt.

Anderson will return to the starting lineup in Friday's matchup with the Jazz, Andy Larsen of KSL.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson started the first four games of the season at shooting guard in place of the injured Danny Green, but failed to stand out. Jonathan Simmons got the start in the Spurs' game Tuesday against the Jazz, but cooled off after his hot start. Head coach Gregg Popovich has opted to return to Anderson in Friday's rematch against the Jazz. The starting shooting guard situation appears like it could be matchup based going forward until Danny Green returns.

Anderson was a late scratch from the Spurs' starting lineup Tuesday and will come off the bench instead, Paul Garcia of Project Spurs reports.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson has started the first four games of the season with Danny Green (quad) sidelined, but he hasn't played particularly well and has posted averages of just 3.8 points, 5.0 rebounds and 1.3 assists over 23.8 minutes. Jonathon Simmons has played well off the bench and has earned a look in the starting lineup, which could mean Anderson's role is slated to be on the decline moving forward.

Anderson provided two points (1-2 FG), eight rebounds, three assists, one steal and one block across 27 minutes in Thursday's 102-94 win over the Kings.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson remained in the starting lineup in place of the injured Danny Green (quad) for the second straight game, and while he turned in a better stat line than he provided in Tuesday's season-opening win over the Warriors, he's not seeing enough involvement as a shooter to gin up much interest in fantasy circle. While Anderson's lack of scoring may be a good thing for the Spurs given that Anderson profiles as more of a facilitator and lacks a reliable outside shot, it's not likely to give him much upside as a waiver-wire pickup. Jonathon Simmons, who scored 20 points in the opener and has also picked up more minutes thanks to Green's absence, looks like the more appealing fantasy option of the two.
