Anderson has bounced between the NBA and D-League throughout his rookie campaign. Still in need of some seasoning, Anderson is probably of best use in dynasty formats at this point in his career.

Anderson was recalled from the Austin Spurs of the NBA D-League on Friday.Anderson should be available for Friday's game against the Warriors, but he doesn't figure to see many minutes. With the Spurs in excellent health right now, Anderson's stint in the NBA may not last long.

Anderson was assigned to the Austin Spurs of the D-League on Tuesday, Mike Monroe of the San Antonio Express-News reports.
Injuries allowed Anderson to log consistent minutes during the month of December, but he's returned to a deep bench role of late, playing just eight total minutes over the Spurs' last seven games. In one D-League appearance this season, Anderson scored 18 points to go with 11 rebounds and six assists in 41 minutes.

Anderson (ankle) played just three minutes Friday in a win over the Suns, despite being active for the game, and didn't score a single point.
Anderson missed just one game with his most recent injury, and isn't much more than a minor role player for the Spurs when others are healthy. In 15 games off the bench this season, Anderson is shooting just 30 percent from the floor and averages 2.0 points, 1.9 rebounds and 0.9 assists.

Anderson (ankle) is listed as probable for Friday's game against the Suns, the San Antonio Express-News reports.
Anderson missed Tuesday's game against the Pistons with a minor ankle sprain but seems to be on track to play Friday barring some kind of setback. The rookie is currently averaging 14.3 minutes on the court this season and still has some developing to do before he's considered a viable option in standard formats.

Anderson (ankle) will not play Tuesday against Detroit, Jeff McDonald of the San Antonio Express-News reports.
Anderson sprained the ankle Saturday against Washington and will sit out Tuesday in an effort to gain extra rest with the Spurs off until Friday. The rookie has proven to produce across several categories this season but hasn't received consistent minutes on a game-to-game basis.

Anderson collected a Coach's Decision-DNP Sunday, one game after moving back into the starting lineup.
Anderson was getting a lot of extra minutes lately with the Spurs trying to navigate all of their injuries, but with most of their players available Sunday, Anderson became an afterthought. He's an intriguing prospect in dynasty leagues, but Anderson is unlikely to play enough minutes this season to have consistent value in standard leagues.

Anderson returned to the starting lineup against the Pelicans Friday. He scored zero points (0-4 FG) and added three rebounds and one assist in nine minutes.
Anderson struggled, and played very little as result. Anderson's fantasy value is almost nonexistent unless he plays significantly more than nine minutes. Until he turns his play around, he can be safely ignored in almost all formats.

Anderson has moved in and out of the starting lineup since the Kawhi Leonard (hand) has been sidelined. The rookie will likely see significant minutes on the court, although he's still a limited option in most formats.
