Anderson will start in Friday's tilt with the Grizzlies, Paul Garcia of Project Spurs reports.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson is drawing the start due to Kawhi Leonard being absent from the contest. While Anderson is certainly an intriguing play in DFS leagues due to Leonard's absence, it remains to be seen if can produce a good line when receiving solid minutes. He is coming off an outing in which he posted two points, two rebounds, three assists, and one block in 22 minutes.

Anderson scored six points (3-6 FG) and added four rebounds and two blocks in 14 minutes during the Spurs' 108-87 win over the Clippers on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
After averaging 22 minutes per night in February, Anderson is back down to 16 minutes per contest through eight March matchups. During this month, he is averaging 4.4 points, five rebounds, 1.3 steals, 0.9 assists, and 0.8 blocks per game.

Anderson had five points (2-4 FG, 1-2 FT), three rebounds, two assists, and one steal in 29 minutes during the Spurs' 118-111 win versus the Suns on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson turned the ball over three times, and was quiet in 29 minutes on Sunday. This was his third straight start in place of Kawhi Leonard (calf). The Spurs are back in action on Wednesday versus the Kings, and if Leonard is unable to go once again, Anderson seems fairly likely to start a fourth straight contest.

Anderson will start a third consecutive game Sunday against the Suns, Jeff McDonald of San Antonio Express-News reports.
EDGE Analysis
With Kawhi Leonard still nursing a calf injury, Anderson will make a third consecutive start. During his last two starts he's averaged 11 points, three rebounds, two assists and two steals over 29 minutes per game. Look for him to receive similar playing time moving forward until Leonard is back to full health.

Anderson produced 14 points (7-14 FG), three rebounds, three assists and two steals over 29 minutes in Friday's 119-113 victory over the Lakers.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson received a second consecutive spot start in Kawhi Leonard's (calf) stead, and managed to provide even better production than in Thursday's outing. The promising second-year pro was much more aggressive with his shot, and wasn't lacking on the defensive end either. He recorded a pair of steals for the third straight game, and appears to be another solid find for a franchise that has excelled at personnel acquisition over the last decade-plus. While he'll immediately return to a reserve role as soon as Leonard gets back on the court, Anderson is gaining invaluable experience during these starting opportunities.

Anderson registered eight points (4-6 FG), three rebounds, an assist and a pair of steals over 28 minutes in Thursday's 105-86 loss to the Clippers.
EDGE Analysis
The second-year pro got the spot start in Kawhi Leonard's (calf) stead, receiving the most minutes since he tallied 30 in a decimation of the Sixers back on Dec. 7. Anderson was efficient with his opportunities, but his lack of overall aggression on offense left the Spurs lacking on the scoreboard. The 22-year-old would presumably be in line for another start Friday against the Lakers should Leonard's absence extend into a second night.

Anderson is expected to start at small forward during Thursday's game against the Clippers, Jabari Young of San Antonio Express-News reports.
EDGE Analysis
Kawhi Leonard is out with a calf injury, which opens up the opportunity for Anderson to move into the starting lineup for the third time this season. Anderson is averaging just 13 minutes per game so far this year, but should see that number increase while running with the starters. Look for Anderson to split the additional minutes with rookie Jonathon Simmons.

Anderson (illness) will return Wednesday against the Magic.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson was inactive Tuesday against Miami due to illness, but he was back healthy at shootaround Wednesday and will be available as the Spurs finish out a back-to-back set before the All-Star break. The UCLA product has seen his role fluctuate this season, but he's played at least 16 minutes in five of the Spurs' last six games.

Anderson has been ruled out of Tuesday's matchup with the Heat due to illness.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson will spend Tuesday night on the bench as he deals with an illness. He could return to the lineup on Wednesday when the Spurs take on the Magic, but a decision will likely be made after Wednesday morning's shootaround. With Anderson out, look for Jonathon Simmons and David West to see more action off the bench.

Anderson tallied 10 points (4-8 FG, 2-2 FT), three rebounds, three assists, a steal and a block over 18 minutes in Saturday's 117-103 loss to the Cavaliers.
EDGE Analysis
The second-year pro recorded his first double-digit scoring performance since Jan. 6 versus the Jazz, and only his fourth overall on the season. The 22-year-old is in the midst of his longest stretch of consistent playing time this season, now having tallied six straight games with between 12 and 25 minutes on the court. Anderson has proven capable of filling out the stat sheet in efficient fashion over that span, averaging 7.2 points, 2.7 rebounds and 2.0 assists over 16.7 minutes per game. If he can continue to demonstrate that type of production, he may be a potential consideration in deeper season-long formats and a more frequently viable option in daily contests.
