Anderson will get the start at small forward in place of Kawhi Leonard (illness) on Monday night against the 76ers, Jeff McDonald of the San Antonio Express-News reports.
EDGE Analysis
With Leonard sitting out due to a stomach virus and Tim Duncan resting, Anderson will have a chance to see extended minutes after playing only eight minutes against Boston on Saturday. The UCLA product has stepped into an increased role this season after spending much of 2014-15 in the D-League, but his workload has still been inconsistent as he continues to find his niche at the NBA level. While Anderson is a capable rebounder and well-above-average passer for his size, he's yet to prove he's a viable fantasy option on a night-to-night basis.
