Anderson provided two points (1-2 FG), eight rebounds, three assists, one steal and one block across 27 minutes in Thursday's 102-94 win over the Kings.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson remained in the starting lineup in place of the injured Danny Green (quad) for the second straight game, and while he turned in a better stat line than he provided in Tuesday's season-opening win over the Warriors, he's not seeing enough involvement as a shooter to gin up much interest in fantasy circle. While Anderson's lack of scoring may be a good thing for the Spurs given that Anderson profiles as more of a facilitator and lacks a reliable outside shot, it's not likely to give him much upside as a waiver-wire pickup. Jonathon Simmons, who scored 20 points in the opener and has also picked up more minutes thanks to Green's absence, looks like the more appealing fantasy option of the two.

Anderson will once again be in the starting lineup as the Spurs take on the Kings Thursday, Jeff McDonald of the San Antonio Express-News reports.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson was relatively quiet in Tuesday's season opener as he started for the injured Danny Green. Meanwhile, the Spurs other reserve wing Jonathan Simmons had an impressive performance, which was cause for speculation regarding what direction the team would go Wednesday. Anderson played 22 minutes in the opener, and should see a similar workload Thursday.

Anderson will start Tuesday's season opener against the Warriors, Jabari Yung of the San Antonio Express-News reports.
EDGE Analysis
With Danny Green (quad) out for the first 2-to-3 weeks of the season, Anderson will move into the starting lineup at shooting guard. The third-year UCLA product has been only a minor piece for the Spurs through his first two NBA seasons, but he'll take on a larger role this season, even once Green returns. Last season, Anderson averaged 4.5 points, 3.1 rebounds and 1.6 assists in 16 minutes per game.

Anderson started at shooting guard in Friday's preseason finale against the Rockets, producing 10 points (4-5 FG, 2-2 FT), four rebounds, three assists and two blocks across 20 minutes.
EDGE Analysis
After stating earlier in training camp that he hoped to find more minutes for Anderson this season, coach Gregg Popovich may have been granted his wish Friday, though in less-than-ideal fashion. Starting shooting guard Danny Green was diagnosed with a quad strain and was subsequently ruled out for three weeks, which enabled Anderson to move up to the top unit Friday. It's unclear, however, if he'll stick there when the Spurs open their regular season Tuesday against the Warriors. Jonathon Simmons (calf) also sat out Friday's game with a minor injury, but is expected to return for the opener and could ultimately prove to be a better replacement for Green given his three-point shooting ability, a skill Anderson lacks. Regardless of how it shakes out, Anderson and Simmons profile as the main beneficiaries of Green's absence, with both set to see enhanced minutes as a result.

Anderson will start at small forward for Wednesday's matchup with the Magic, Jeff McDonald of the San Antonio Express-News reports.
EDGE Analysis
Kawhi Leonard is getting the game off for additional rest, so Anderson will have the opportunity to run with the starting lineup and could potentially see an increase in minutes. Anderson was all over the stat sheet Monday, notching eight points, four rebounds, two assists, a block and three steals over 20 minutes and should have the opportunity to build on that strong showing with Leonard out of the lineup.

Anderson went for 21.6 points, 7.4 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game in five Utah and Las Vegas Summer League games.
EDGE Analysis
The 6-foot-9 forward was by far and away one of the most impressive players showcased throughout summer league. Anderson blew the competition away with his 41.5 percent shooting from deep and 52.4 percent field-goal shooting. There is no question that he proved his worth this summer. Unfortunately for Anderson, the Spurs loaded roster has stymied him from exploding on the NBA scene. On the plus side, the former one-and-done forward from UCLA is just 22 years old. With San Antonio on the verge of some player turn over, Anderson could figure his way into the regular rotation this upcoming season.

Anderson played five minutes and accrued no statistics in Monday's 98-97 Game 2 loss to the Thunder.
EDGE Analysis
With the Spurs trailing for most of the contest, coach Gregg Popovich relied more heavily on his starters, leaving little opportunity for Anderson to get off the bench. The second-year forward had seen at least 14 minutes in each of the Spurs' previous five playoff games, but nearly all of those contests were of the blowout variety.

Anderson scored 15 points (6-10 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 2-3 FT) to go with 10 rebounds, five steals, and four assists in 30 minutes during the Spurs' 96-91 win against the Mavericks on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson swiped a career-high five steals while matching his career high with 15 points in Wednesday's start, and he also delivered his first double-double. It's unclear exactly how much time Anderson will play in the postseason, but he is unlikely to log very many minutes in a playoff game that's not a total blowout.

Anderson scored eight points (3-4 FG, 2-3 FT) and added 11 rebounds and three assists over 20 minutes in Thursday's 112-101 loss to the Warriors.
EDGE Analysis
The second-year forward was outstanding on the glass in a reserve role, tallying a career high in boards. Anderson has notably received at least 20 minutes of playing time in his last two games, a sign that coach Gregg Popovich could certainly have gained some trust in him after a season where the UCLA product has acquitted himself fairly well in starting opportunities.

Anderson scored 13 points (4-6 FG, 4-4 FT, 1-2 3Pt) to go along with a season-high seven assists, four steals, three rebounds and a block in 36 minutes during Monday's win over the Grizzlies.
EDGE Analysis
The 22-year-old stepped into an expanded role with many of San Antonio's regulars sitting out, and he responded with a healthy all-around effort. Anderson has shown the ability to produce in multiple categories, but his value is seemingly directly tied to who is resting for the Spurs on a given night. As such, he remains a more attractive daily option than he does a season-long sleeper.
