Josh Howard returned to action on Wednesday January 25.

Josh Howard says he feels good and will play on Tuesday against the Raptors. He's been out with a quad injury that he aggravated shortly after coming back last time. Hopefully he's not coming back too early this time. Keep an eye on him, as he could easily move into the starting lineup (replacing Raja Bell) for the Jazz if he can stay healthy and be productive.

He has missed four straight games and the Jazz have gone 3-1 without him. That includes wins over the Nuggets and Clippers. The oft-injured Howard has a ways to go to secure more than the 23.0 minutes per game he was playing before getting injury.

Josh Howard (quad) will not play on Saturday. This isn't surprising since the Jazz don't play again until Wednesday, which gives Howard enough time to (we hope) heal completely. He's been good when he plays this year, and could eventually earn 30+ minutes as either a starter or sixth man, but at this point he's a constant injury risk.

Howard had been targeting a Saturday return, so it sounds like he's on schedule in his return. Given his injury history, the Jazz definitely won't rush him back before he's 100 percent ready.

Gordon Hayward, Raja Bell and Alec Burks will see a slight increase in minutes with Howard on the shelf, and the Jazz certainly won't rush Howard back considering his recent injury history.

Josh Howard, as expected, will miss Tuesday's game with his lingering quad injury. Rumor has it that he's going to join the starting lineup and become a potential fantasy beast at some point this season, but we're not sure he can stay healthy long enough for it to happen.
