Josh Howard started for injured Raja Bell (adductor) on Monday, scoring 12 points on 4-of-8 shooting with seven rebounds, one assist, one steal, and one block in 29 minutes. C.J. Miles also made some noise with 13 points on 5-of-10 shooting (including a three) with two rebounds and one assist in 23 minutes off the bench. Gordon Hayward was the odd man out with just eight points and a quiet line in 28 minutes. Look for two of the three to go quiet each night Bell is out, with the other two posting serviceable lines or better.

Josh Howard will likely start on Monday if Raja Bell (strained adductor) cannot play. It seems ridiculous for Bell to risk aggravating an injury he has dealt with on and off for over a year, since the All Star break is right around the corner. Howard could be a sneaky, albeit incredibly risky play over the next two games. Gordon Hayward would also benefit from this news, as Bell's presence allows teams to better defend Hayward.

Josh Howard played a season-low five minutes on Sunday. We aren't aware of an injury and it seems Howard is simply being squeezed out of the rotation by Gordon Hayward, C.J. Miles and Alec Burks.

Josh Howard played 15 minutes off the bench in Monday's loss, scoring two points on 1-of-4 shooting with three rebounds and one assist. Howard could theoretically get more minutes if Ty Corbin decides to change things up after losing to a reeling Knicks squad, but owners shouldn't be holding onto Howard in 12-14 team leagues for the right to find out.

Josh Howard bounced back from a rough outing on Wednesday, scoring 19 points on 7-of-10 shooting (including a three) with two rebounds and four assists in 40 minutes on Thursday. Yes, this came against the Warriors, who haven't improved as much as some would like you to believe defensively, but it's a nice effort nonetheless. C.J. Miles (three points, 13 minutes) was the odd-man out tonight with Howard and Gordon Hayward (21 points) getting it done. One of the three will likely struggle nightly, with the other two being more-than serviceable plays while Raja Bell (adductor) is out. Hayward is a must-own player in 12-team leagues, while Howard is a recommended add and Miles is worth a look.

Josh Howard started again for the Jazz, but hit just 2-of-6 shots for four points and three rebounds in 22 minutes. C.J. Miles came off the bench for 16 points, three rebounds and two 3-pointers in 23 minutes, and still looks like a more reliable option than Howard for now.

Josh Howard was productive in his first start for the Jazz on Monday, scoring 11 points on 5-of-15 shooting (including a three) with seven rebounds and four assists in 38 minutes. Howard is the playmaker on the outside that the Jazz need and he's going to get all the minutes he can handle until he hurts himself, which is a very real possibility on any given night. With the chance that he can produce at this level, Howard is worth a look in most leagues, but owners should think twice about dropping a player with consistent value.

There's a "good chance" Josh Howard starts at small forward against the Blazers Monday, a source tells the Salt Lake Tribune.

Josh Howard played just 15 minutes on Friday against his former team (the Mavs) and had four points and three rebounds. As usual, Howard is expected to overtake Raja Bell as a starter for Utah, but hasn't proven to be healthy enough to do so. He's worth keeping an eye on, but neither Bell nor Howard are worth gambling on right now.

Josh Howard returned from a four-game absence due to a quad injury but missed all five of his shots and failed to score in 16 minutes on Wednesday. The belief is that if he can get healthy and produce, he would move into the starting lineup in place of Raja Bell. However, Howard might not have the ability to stay healthy long enough for it to happen.
