Jeremy Lin had a quiet night as Houston cruised past the woeful Pistons on Saturday, scoring seven points with four rebounds, eight assists and one steal. Lin knocked down a 3-pointer and didn't turn the ball over in his 26 minutes, a nice change of pace from his average of 3.2 TOs per game. The low playing time is nothing to worry about -- he was averaging 37 minutes in the previous five games, and the occasional blowout will help to keep him fresh.

Jeremy Lin scored 21 points on 6-of-16 shooting (including two threes) with 10 rebounds, seven assists, and just three turnovers in 40 minutes on Friday against the Hawks. Lin could end up shattering expectations that had lowered throughout a tough preseason that also included knee worries. The addition of James Harden has been a godsend and the uptempo pace that Houston is playing is opening things up for Lin in a best-case scenario way. Throw in the fact that almost all of the pressure on Lin to perform is gone, at least for now, Lin's fantasy arrow is pointing decidedly up.

Jeremy Lin had 12 points, four rebounds, eight assists, four steals and four turnovers on 5-of-12 shooting Wednesday. Lin is the starting point guard in Houston, no questions asked. As long as his knee isn't bothering him, start him every night.

Jeremy Lin hit 5-of-10 shots and three 3-pointers on his way to 13 points, five assists and two steals in 23 minutes of Friday's win over the Magic. This is a nice way for Lin to enter the regular season after struggling most of the preseason with his surgically repaired knee. The other good news is that back up point guards Scott Machado and Toney Douglas each played just 12 minutes. As long as Lin is healthy he's going to rack up serious minutes for the Rockets, and tonight's performance should make it easier to take him as a No. 1 point guard on draft night.

Jeremy Lin had an ugly outing on Wednesday with two points on 1-of-8 from the field, two assists, two steals, two blocks and six turnovers on 31 minutes. His stats have been a mess this preseason with several ups and downs. He is shooting a pathetic 22.2 percent from the field this preseason, but fantasy owners shouldn't be too myopic and knock him down based on a sub-par preseason.

Jeremy Lin handed out 12 assists to go with his seven points and four steals in 27 minutes on Wednesday. He only turned it over twice, but struggled shooting the ball by only making 3-of-9 from the field and 1-of-4 from the line. There are more than a dozen other point guards we'd own over Lin.

Jeremy Lin (knee) did not play in Monday's exhibition game as a part of plan to give him prescribed rest throughout October. This is obviously the best course of action if his knee is bothering him, but Lin's slow start to the preseason isn't doing much to allay fears that last year's Linsanity was a fluke. We still have him as an early mid-round guy in 8-cat drafts, but that could change as news develops over the next few weeks, of course.

Jeremy Lin (knee) isn't sure whether he'll play on Monday, the second of back-to-back preseason games. Lin shot just 1-of-10 from the field on Sunday but said that his knee felt "fine," and he is simply trying to get a rhythm with his new teammates.

Jeremy Lin made just 1-of-10 FGs to finish with four points in the Rockets loss to the Spurs on Sunday. Lin missed all three of his 3-pointers and had just one assist vs. two turnovers in 25 minutes. He's admitted that he's still regaining his timing and confidence after knee surgery, and we're hoping to see him get on track in the next week -- Houston's regular season begins with an away game in Detroit on Oct. 31.

Jeremy Lin improved in the Rockets' second preseason game on Friday, scoring nine points on 2-of-6 shooting with one rebound, seven assists, and two steals in 23 minutes. Lin is still adjusting to his new team and getting his legs underneath him after offseason knee surgery. If his development doesn't pick up as we go through the preseason, we'll probably drop him from a late Round 4 grade in 8-cat formats to something closer to the middle rounds.
