The statuses of Udonis Haslem, Dwyane Wade, Goran Dragic, Tyler Johnson and Mario Chalmers are all up in the air.

Whiteside was benched for much of the second half of Friday's game against the Wizards, the Palm Beach Post's Jason Lieser reports. He was reportedly sulking on the bench after being pulled and his production was not at its typical level, as he mustered just two rebounds in 20 minutes. It seems unlikely that Whiteside will be forgotten about in the Heat's rotation, but it's worth noting that he and coach Erik Spoelstra may not be seeing eye to eye right now. There is very little profit potential with either Udonis Haslem or Chris Andersen if Whiteside sees a dip in minutes, so the hope should be for him to regain a steady role in Miami's frontcourt.

Whiteside scored 18 points (6-10 FG, 6-13 FT) with 25 rebounds and four blocks in 33 minutes during Wednesday's victory over the Lakers. Whiteside has been incredible on the glass with 59 rebounds in his last three games. He has been one of the waiver wire finds of the season and will win many an owner a championship this season.

Whiteside was fined $15,000 and will not be suspended for wrestling with Alex Len in Monday's game, Tim Reynolds of the Associated Press reports. There was a little speculation that Whiteside and Len could both be suspended for the altercation, but owners can breathe a sigh of relief knowing that the two players' bank accounts will be the only casualty.

Whiteside was ejected from Monday's game against the Suns for fighting with Alex Len. The big men got into an altercation in the third quarter after a Whiteside dunk. Len and Whiteside were tangled up under the basket, and Len appeared to give Whiteside a shove. Whiteside responded with a solid form tackle, wrapping up Len by the legs and eventually bringing him to the ground as a scrum ensued. Both players were ejected from the game and will likely face further discipline from the league. A suspension seems likely for Whiteside, and possibly Len as well, and a decision should come down from the league office Tuesday. Prior to being tossed, Whiteside posted 17 points (8-12 FG), 10 rebounds and two blocks in 26 minutes.

Whiteside had 14 points and tied his season-high in rebounding with 24 rebounds Saturday against Atlanta. He also had two blocks over 34 minutes on the floor. Whiteside finished out February on a high note with his third outing of 15 or more rebounds during the month. He averaged 14.5 points and 12.4 rebounds in 11 February contests.

Whiteside scored 15 points (5-8 FG, 5-8 FT) with 13 rebounds and three blocks in 37 minutes during Wednesday's win over the Magic. Whiteside is averaging 13.4 points, 13.2 rebounds and two blocks over his last five games. There is no reason to expect anything different over the remainder of the season and owners should enjoy a ride on the Whiteside.

Whiteside said after Wednesday's practice that his ankle is feeling much better. "It's a lot better. I got all of the swelling out," Whiteside said.Whiteside was limited in the Heat's final two games before the break with a sore ankle, but after a week off, the swelling has reduced and he's fully healthy heading into Friday's game against New York.
