Whiteside was ejected from Monday's game against the Suns for fighting with Alex Len. The big men got into an altercation in the third quarter after a Whiteside dunk. Len and Whiteside were tangled up under the basket, and Len appeared to give Whiteside a shove. Whiteside responded with a solid form tackle, wrapping up Len by the legs and eventually bringing him to the ground as a scrum ensued. Both players were ejected from the game and will likely face further discipline from the league. A suspension seems likely for Whiteside, and possibly Len as well, and a decision should come down from the league office Tuesday. Prior to being tossed, Whiteside posted 17 points (8-12 FG), 10 rebounds and two blocks in 26 minutes.
