Eric Bledsoe was outstanding in his Suns debut on Wednesday, scoring 22 points with seven boards, six assists and one steal on 7-of-12 from the field in 39 minutes. He went to the line 11 times, making eight attempts, and the Blazers had some serious issues in containing him. Bledsoe's first step is among the fastest in the league and there's little doubt that the Suns found themselves a good one in the summer trade with the Clippers. He has a shot to be a top-10 guard in fantasy this year.

The Suns are hoping to work out a long-term extension for guard Eric Bledsoe before Halloween, otherwise he becomes a restricted free agent next summer. Either way the Suns are in the driver's seat to keep Bledsoe, who has quickly become one of the hottest commodities in fantasy hoops. We're still not sure that Bledsoe and point guard Goran Dragic can co-exist, as both are really point guards, but so far, the experiment appears to be working.

Eric Bledsoe flirted with a triple-double against the Nuggets on Wednesday, scoring 21 points with seven boards and seven assists in 36 minutes. He added two steals and a block, but did turn the ball over five times. Bledsoe led all point guards last season in blocks per game and he did it in only 20.4 minutes per game, plus he'll have plenty of steals and dimes to go with it this year. You'll have a tough time finding a guard with higher upside after the 30th pick in standard leagues.

Eric Bledsoe hit 6-of-16 shots for 15 points, six rebounds, seven assists and two steals Tuesday, but was 0-for-4 from downtown as Goran Dragic sat out with a sprained ankle. Bledsoe is putting up similar numbers to Orlando's Victor Oladipo, and the duo are two of our favorite mid-round guards to draft this season. Of course, Bledsoe will have to deal with the presence of Dragic on most nights, but is expected to start at shooting guard, as well as play plenty of point guard when Dragic is getting a rest.

He hit 3-of-6 shots in 28 minutes, and while tonight's line can be considered a disappointment, it's the preseason. He's still at the top of our sleepers list this season and should be a beast this season, once he gets going.

Eric Bledsoe came off the bench and played just 16 minutes on Sunday, totaling seven points, four boards, two assists and two blocks. The blocks are great and Bledsoe actually has a very good shot to lead all guards in that category this season. There's obviously nothing to worry about with him coming off the bench and he looks poised for a breakout in his first year with his new team.

Eric Bledsoe scored only six points on 3-of-11 shooting on Wednesday, but he had five rebounds, nine assists, four steals and zero turnovers in a start at PG. Bledsoe will start alongside Goran Dragic this season, playing both guard positions interchangeably. He scored 22 points in 21 minutes during Monday's exhibition and he'll soak up minutes on a young, rebuilding Suns team. It's well worth remembering his per-36-minute stats from last season -- 14.9 points, 0.7 triples, 5.2 rebounds, 5.4 assists, 2.5 steals and 1.3 blocks.

Eric Bledsoe has been effective at point guard in training camp. He's been showing off the ability to drive and kick the ball to open shooters. "Our emphasis on [Bledsoe] is to try and do that all game long," coach Jeff Hornacek said. "When we do that, it's not only going to open up himself and our three-point shooters, but then our big guys. He made some great passes to our big guys running." It's been nothing but positives on Bledsoe with his new team and we'd be a little surprise to see him not break out. He's worth a bit of a reach in your draft.

Suns coach Jeff Hornacek has been impressed by Eric Bledsoe's passing ability. "I wasn't sure about the passing ability and what he saw as a point guard," Hornacek said. "[But] right away ... in those pickup games, you think, 'Yeah, he sees the floor well.' He's made great passes." Bledsoe's supreme speed and athleticism fit the Suns fast tempo style of play, and he should quickly develop chemistry with backcourt mate Goran Dragic. If he learns to be consistent within the Suns' offense, Bledsoe's fantasy value could skyrocket.
