The Raptors and Clippers continue to have "exploratory" talks about a deal involving Eric Bledsoe, but so far L.A. has been resistant to their offers. The Raptors would reportedly rather give up DeMar DeRozan than Andrea Bargnani, and they've even "pitched a trade scenario in which L.A. would receive both Bargnani and ... DeRozan." The Magic and Pistons are also known to covet Bledsoe.

The Raptors are interested in trading for Eric Bledsoe, according to Marc Stein of ESPN.com This deal is still in the embryonic stages, but the framework includes Andrea Bargnani and DeMar DeRozan. The Raptors were willing to bend over backwards to deal Bargnani and they would likely be dying to make this deal despite DeRozan's best season as a pro in 2012-13. Of course, the Raptors did hastily sign DeRozan to a huge $40 million deal last offseason. The Raptors also would like to make room for Terrence Ross. Even though the Clippers could use a shooting guard, they can probably do better.

Orlando Magic GM Rob Hennigan said the team could revisit the Eric Bledsoe for Arron Afflalo swap in the offseason. With Orlando taking Victor Oladipo second overall in the draft, the team will likely look to move Afflalo as they go even younger. If they can ship him to Los Angeles and acquire Bledsoe, it would be a major win for Hennigan and a backcourt of the future that includes Bledsoe and Oladipo would be very fun to watch.

The Clippers are unlikely to trade Eric Bledsoe during Thursday's draft despite interest from the Pistons, Raptors, Pelicans, Magic and Mavs, sources tell Yahoo! Sports' Marc J. Spears. The Clippers and Magic were reportedly in discussions about a Bledsoe trade as recently as Tuesday, which Magic GM Rob Hennigan shot down Wednesday afternoon. Pistons beat writer Vincent Ellis also confirmed Detroit's interest in Rivers, noting there are "many teams bidding" to land Bledsoe. It's important to note new Clippers coach Doc Rivers is a big Bledsoe fan, to the point where Rivers reportedly asked the Clippers to keep him out of trade talks with Boston because he wanted to coach Bledsoe and Chris Paul together. If Bledsoe is traded, it might not happen until later in the summer.

ESPN is reporting that the Clippers and Magic are still in discussions on a trade that would potentially send Eric Bledsoe and Caron Butler to the Magic for Arron Afflalo and possibly Andrew Nicholson. The Clippers could also get a future first-round pick in the deal. If this deal were to happen prior to the draft, it would clear the Magic to draft SG Victor Oladipo or Ben McLemore without having to worry about finding minutes for a rookie SG. It would also give them a dynamic point guard and create a likely timeshare with Jameer Nelson, whose career is winding down. The Clippers could use Afflalo's outside shooting and would get something in return for Bledsoe before he becomes a free agent next summer. Doc Rivers has made it clear that he's a Bledsoe fan, but that may only enhance the Clippers' leverage in trying to deal him.

According to the Sporting News, the "most likely" Eric Bledsoe trade will be to Orlando for Arron Afflalo and Caron Butler. Now that the Doc Rivers deal is done and Chris Paul is almost a sure thing to re-sign with the Clippers, they can move their attention to Bledsoe. He'll be a free agent after this season, meaning the time is now if they want to get assets for him. A solid 3-point shooter and rugged wing defender like Afflalo would fit the bill. The Magic could replace him with Ben McLemore or Victor Oladipo at No. 2 overall on Thursday night.

The Clippers have Arron Afflalo and Danny Granger on their radar in a trade for Eric Bledsoe. Bledsoe has been a valuable trade chip for a couple years and now appears to be the time they're looking to cash in. Danny Granger's knee isn't what it used to be and Lance Stephenson playing better has depreciated Granger's value. Similarly, the Magic found gems in Tobias Harris and Moe Harkless to go with their second pick in the draft. The Clippers might be able to do better here.

The Clippers want to keep Eric Bledsoe out of trade with Celtics for Kevin Garnett and Doc Rivers to be able to put Bledsoe in separate deal, according to ESPN.com. The Clippers still don't have Chris Paul signed yet, so trading away Bledsoe would mean they could be stuck without a point guard should the CP3 signing go south. If the Clippers are indeed looking to trade Bledsoe, it'll likely be after free agency is in full swing.

The Celtics acquiring Eric Bledsoe would be the "first major hurdle" in a deal that sent a package of Kevin Garnett and Doc Rivers to Los Angeles, according to Yahoo! Sports. Rivers wouldn't be a part of the trade, but Celtics would release him based on the terms of the deal. Bledsoe is one of the best backup point guards in the NBA, averaging 14.2 points, 5.3 assists and 2.5 steals in his 12 starts this year, so he would be a tremendous insurance policy to Rajon Rondo. If Bledsoe isn't a part of the deal, the Clippers could send two first-round picks and DeAndre Jordan to Boston. Stay tuned.
