Johnson (ankle) has no timetable for a return to action, TSN Sports reports. Johnson's sprained ankle already forced one DNP on Saturday, but he was moving far better during Tuesday's practice than at any point since suffering the injury Friday. While another absence is likely, he should be considered highly questionable to play Wednesday. If he remains on the pine, Tyler Hansbrough could receive his second consecutive start.

Johnson (ankle) didn't take part in Monday's practice, TSN Sports reports. Johnson initially sustained a sprained ankle Friday, which held him out Saturday against the Celtics. Coach Dwane Casey mentioned after Monday's practice that Johnson is having difficulty placing pressure on the afflicted region, meaning the big man doesn't seem like a great bet to play Wednesday. If Johnson remains out, Tyler Hansbrough could receive his second start in a row.

Johnson (ankle) won't play Saturday against the Celtics, TSN Sports reports. After suffering an ankle sprain Friday, Johnson will reside on the pine Saturday. In his place, Patrick Patterson is the best bet to enter the starting five, while James Johnson should pick up additional minutes. In the meantime, Amir's next opportunity to play arrives Wednesday in Charlotte.

Johnson suffered an ankle sprain in Friday's game against the Nets and will not return. While Johnson will miss the remainder of Friday's contest, a sprained ankle is a mild injury compared to other possibilities. While his status for Saturday's contest could come into question because of the issue, a sprain (depending on severity) could make him miss just minimal time.

Johnson scored eight points (4-7 FG) to go along with 16 rebounds, three assists, one steal and one block in 33 minutes Monday against the Rockets. Johnson has grabbed at least 11 rebounds in two of his last three games, but has scored eight points or less in five of his last seven games. He's not a huge contributor on the defensive end either as he is only averaging 0.6 steals and 0.8 blocks a game this season, leaving him with limited fantasy value.

Johnson scored 16 points (8-14 FG, 0-2 FT) with 14 rebounds, three assists and a block in 33 minutes during Tuesday's loss to the Spurs. It's the first time in 10 games that Johnson has scored in double digits, and his first double-double since mid-January, so don't get too excited. The power forward's numbers are down just about across the board this season, and he would need to string a few good games together to get on the fantasy radar in most leagues.

Johnson scored eight points (4-8 FG) with seven rebounds, one assist and one steal in 20 minutes Saturday, returning to the starting lineup after a one-game demotion. Dwane Casey's are not consistent enough to recommend Johnson for most standard fantasy leagues, as he has averaged just 26 minutes a game this season, and 24 in his last six games. Even in those minutes, his 6.8 points and 6.2 rebounds in his last six just don't move the fantasy needle enough to warrant ownership, despite his status as a starter once again.

Johnson moved to the bench for Friday's game against the Warriors but managed to record eight points, four rebounds, and three assists during 22 minutes of action. Johnson was demoted Friday, although Patrick Patterson, who moved into the starting lineup, also saw 22 minutes on the court Friday. It's still unclear who will be the starter moving forward but both players have a good chance of seeing relatively the same amount of time on the court regardless.

Johnson will move to the bench for Friday's game against the Warriors. Johnson will give way to Patrick Patterson on Friday, although it's still unclear if this will be a permanent change moving forward. Either way, Patterson has a good chance of seeing more time on the court Friday than Johnson.

Johnson missed both of his field goal attempts, finishing scoreless with seven rebounds and two steals in just 19 minutes Saturday.Johnson was also dealing with foul trouble, along with poor play, and that limited his minutes. Dwane Casey has shown a proclivity to limit the minutes of all of his big men, so Johnson's fantasy value will be hit or miss, but in general, he's a guy who can provide value in most formats. All of numbers, bar his 59 percent shooting from the field, have regressed from last season, though.
