Yu Darvish lost to the A's after giving up five runs in five-plus innings and walking six on Wednesday.
A rare off day for Darvish. It's the first time he's walked as many as five batters this year. Last year, he walked six on three occasions, including once against the A's. He also tied his season high for runs allowed. The Rangers have lost Darvish's last four starts, though this is the first one that could be considered his fault.

Yu Darvish allowed three runs over 6 2/3 innings in a loss to the Twins on Friday.
Darvish actually entered the seventh inning with a no-hitter, but things unraveled in a hurry, as he walked Brian Dozier and gave up back-to-back homers to Chris Herrmann and Justin Morneau to cough up the lead. He struck out 11 in the loss, giving him his fourth double-digit strikeout game in his last six starts. The AL Cy Young hopeful will hope to get back into the win column next week in an important start against the Athletics.

Yu Darvish allowed two runs in seven innings Saturday in a no-decision against the White Sox.
Darvish struck out 11 batters, but the White Sox were able to take advantage of the few mistakes that he did make. The right-hander will carry a 12-5 record, 2.68 ERA and 1.04 WHIP into his next scheduled start at home against the Twins. He has 225 strikeouts in 168 frames and seems likely to dominate Minnesota.

Yu Darvish experienced some tightness in his gluteus maximus during his start on Tuesday night.
Darvish was visited on the mound at one point by Rangers manager Ron Washington, pitching coach Mike Maddux and athletic trainer Kevin Harmon, but he decided to stay in the game. The hope is that the tightness won't return in his next start -- a juicy matchup against the Astros.

Yu Darvish matched his career high with 14 strikeouts over seven scoreless innings Thursday in a victory over the Diamondbacks.
It was actually a little bit of a letdown, given that he had 10 strikeouts after four and 14 strikeouts after six. However, after he went K-less in the seventh inning, the Rangers had absolutely no reason to push him further in a 7-0 game. Darvish allowed five hits and walked none while throwing 111 pitches. He's had four 14-K games this season, and he's reached double figures eight times.

Yu Darvish allowed two hits over 6 1/3 innings Monday in the Rangers' 3-0 shutout o the Yankees.
Darvish was pulled after 90 pitches in his return from the DL. He's 2-0 with a 1.35 ERA in three career starts versus the Yankees.

Rangers activated RHP Yu Darvish from the 15-day disabled list.
Darvish will start on Monday against the Yankees. The right-hander will make his return without making a rehab start, so it's possible he might be a little limited in the pitch count department. He returns to a 3.02 ERA and 1.05 WHIP over 18 starts.

Rangers manager Ron Washington said Thursday that Yu Darvish (back) will be activated from the disabled list to start on Monday against the Yankees.
Darvish was cleared after throwing a bullpen session Thursday, a day earlier than expected. He'll make his return without making a rehab start, so it's possible he might be a little limited in the pitch count department. Still, he's obviously a must-start in fantasy leagues.
