Darvish (6-1) earned the win Thursday against the Mets after giving up two runs on four hits and a walk while fanning five across 5.1 innings.
EDGE Analysis
Darvish might have ended two outs away from posting a quality start, but that was because his pitch count had already reached 90 deliveries. The star hurler delivered another impressive outing but also contributed at the plate, as he went 2-for-2 with a double. Darvish, who improved his ERA to 2.25 on the year, lines up to face his former team, the Cubs, at home next week.

Darvish hurled five innings against the Astros on Saturday, allowing five runs (four earned) on four hits and three walks while striking out five. He did not factor in the decision.
EDGE Analysis
The right-hander kept Houston off the scoreboard for three innings, but he was tagged for two runs on a Carlos Correa homer in the fourth. Darvish then allowed three more runs in the fifth, though the final tally was unearned. The five total runs allowed were a season high for Darvish, who came into the contest having yielded no more than two runs in each of his past nine starts. In spite of the poor outing, he still owns fantastic numbers on the season, including a 2.16 ERA and 79:16 K:BB across 66.2 innings. Darvish lines up to face the Mets at home next weekend.

Darvish (5-1) picked up the win over Seattle on Sunday, allowing one run on seven hits with five strikeouts in seven innings in a 9-2 win.
EDGE Analysis
Darvish was engaged in a pitcher's duel with opposing starter Justin Dunn, who actually accounted for the one run Darvish surrendered, until San Diego broke the game open with four runs in both the sixth and seventh innings. Darvish has been supremely dominant since Opening Day, allowing no more than two runs in each of the ensuing eight starts to the tune of a sparkling 1.75 ERA.

EDGE Analysis
Darvish has looked absolutely dominant this season and he's now tossed two straight scoreless outings. In fact, he's allowed one or fewer runs in all but two of his starts in 2021 and owns a sterling 1.81 ERA across 54.2 innings this season. His next start is scheduled for the upcoming weekend series against the Mariners at home.

Darvish allowed an unearned run on two hits and a walk with one strikeout in a no-decision versus Colorado on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Darvish needed 76 pitches (48 strikes) to get through four innings before Emilio Pagan relieved him to start the fifth. It was the shortest of Darvish's eight starts this season. The 34-year-old has allowed two or fewer runs in his last seven outings, pitching to a 2.08 ERA, 0.92 WHIP and 59:13 K:BB across 47.2 innings overall. He lines up for a rematch with Colorado next week.

Darvish allowed two runs on six hits and a walk while fanning eight across 5.2 innings Wednesday against the Pirates. He didn't factor into the decision.
EDGE Analysis
Darvish ended just one out away from posting what would've been his sixth straight quality start, and the right-hander continues to pitch at a stellar level in 2021 -- he has given up just 11 runs across 43.2 innings while posting a 57:12 K:BB thus far. Darvish will try to extend this sizzling run next week, as he's slated to take the ball next week against Colorado on the road.

Darvish (3-1) earned the win over San Francisco on Friday, pitching 6.1 innings and allowing one run on four hits and three walks while striking out 12.
EDGE Analysis
The right-hander was on his game against a surprising Giants squad, giving up only one run on a first-inning homer. Darvish set a season high with 12 strikeouts in the victory and induced 16 swings-and-misses. Since a rough outing in the season opener against Arizona, Darvish has hurled five straight quality starts, posting a 1.35 ERA, 0.75 WHIP and 43:10 K:BB over 33.1 innings during that stretch. He is projected to next take the mound Wednesday at home against Pittsburgh.

Darvish (2-1) allowed one run on four hits and three walks while striking out nine batters over seven innings as he picked up the win against the Dodgers on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
The Dodgers got to Darvish early, as Mookie Betts led off the bottom half of the first with a double before eventually coming around to score on an RBI single to right center by Max Muncy. The 34-year-old Darvish settled in thereafter and kept the Dodgers off the scoreboard but did appear to have some control issues, as he issued five free passes (three walks and two hit batters). Regardless, Darvish allowed exactly one earned run for the fourth consecutive outing and has found a nice groove after getting roughed up by the Diamondbacks in the season opener. He'll take a 2.27 ERA and 37:8 K:BB into his next scheduled start against the Giants on Friday.

Darvish (1-1) allowed one earned run on one hit and walked two while striking out nine over seven innings of work in a loss to the Dodgers on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
The righty was phenomenal as he threw 68 of his 98 pitches for strikes and his sole mistake came on walking opposing pitcher Clayton Kershaw in the fifth inning. Darvish hasn't skipped a beat since being traded to San Diego, holding a 2.55 ERA on the year and his next chance to take the rubber will be on Friday against the Dodgers and Clayton Kershaw again.
