Manager A.J. Hinch says Harris (groin) is "completely fine" and will pitch in the next few days, Jake Kaplan of the Houston Chronicle reports.
EDGE Analysis
This is great news for Harris, who left his first spring training game earlier this week with discomfort. After a successful bullpen session Friday, it appears the right-hander is ready to return to live action. Despite the setback, Harris says he's confident he can reach his typical spring workload before Opening Day, where the reliever returns looks to build upon a strong 2016 campaign.

Harris (groin) threw a bullpen session Friday, three days after his first spring outing was cut short, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Getting back into game action is the next step for Harris. who feels confident he'll be able to get in his typical spring workload in with a month to go before the regular season. The 32-year-old right-hander added that he's working on changing up his plan of attack depending on the count and the hitter he's facing, moving away from being "one-dimensional in my approach to every hitter."

Harris (groin) will throw a bullpen session Friday, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Harris left an outing Tuesday because of the injury, but was up and throwing by Wednesday. It certainly seems like the Astros were exercising caution with one of its key bullpen pieces.

Astros manager A.J. Hinch said that Harris (groin) would be able to throw Wednesday, Jake Kaplan of the Houston Chronicle reports.
EDGE Analysis
Harris was pulled from his relief appearance during Tuesday's Grapefruit League game against the Nationals after experiencing some groin discomfort, but it looks like his removal may have only been precautionary. With Hinch indicating that Harris would be "fine" going forward, it should only be a matter of days before he's back pitching in spring training exhibitions. The 2016 All-Star is once again expected to open the upcoming season in a key setup role after logging a 2.07 ERA and 0.97 WHIP in 137 appearances for the Astros over the past two years.

Harris left Tuesday's game after feeling groin discomfort, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Smith downplayed the ailment and said that his removal was strictly precautionary. This marked the first Grapefruit League game that Harris had appeared in, so it would appear that Harris is simply getting back into the swing of live pitching. However, because Harris is one of the most frequently used pitchers in Houston's bullpen, it will be worth monitoring his status to ensure the discomfort isn't a reoccurring incident.

Harris agreed to a two-year, $5 million contract with the Astros on Friday, Jake Kaplan of the Houston Chronicle reports.
EDGE Analysis
Harris was arbitration eligible for the first time this winter. With this deal, the Astros lock Harris in at a reasonable cost for the next two seasons, and they can opt into a third year (2019) if they so choose. Harris turned in a fine season in 2016, earning an All-Star berth and a run in the closer role. Ken Giles wrestled the job away late, but Harris should remain a valuable source of holds and the ratios make him useful even in deep standard-scoring formats.

Harris notched his 12th save in Friday's 5-3 victory over the Blue Jays, giving up on earned run on a hit over one inning.
EDGE Analysis
The Astros' closer yielded a solo shot to Edwin Encarnacion but otherwise escaped the inning unscathed for his first save since July 27. Harris has struggled in recent appearances, blowing two consecutive save opportunities since that date while also being credited with a hold. The 31-year-old is now 12-for-15 in save chances with 17 holds to his credit in 2016.

Harris struck out two in a perfect ninth for his 11th save Wednesday against the Yankees.
EDGE Analysis
Thanks to a four-run disaster against Oakland prior to the All-Star break, Harris still owns a not-so-hot 3.91 ERA since taking over as the Astros' closer, but he's also 11-for-12 in save chances in the midst of his second straight season as one of baseball's top relief aces. In fact, he's actually improved on last year's 1.90 ERA, as his 2016 figure's now down to 1.71 following Wednesday's save. Harris isn't giving up this job anytime soon.

Harris picked up his 10th save of the season Friday versus the Angels. He gave up a hit and struck out one.
EDGE Analysis
Harris blew his first save of the season in his last outing, but he got back on track by preserving the one-run lead and putting the finishing touches on a 2-1 victory. However, the 31-year-old right-hander did give up a hit for the eighth time in his last 10 appearances, and his 16th overall during that stretch. The closer role in Houston is a bit muddy, so Harris can't afford to continue skating on thin ice. But, as long as he's getting the job done at this rate (90 percent), then he'll continue getting the work.

Harris blew his first save of the season as he allowed a run on two hits in an eventual extra-innings loss Tuesday to the Athletics.
EDGE Analysis
Harris finally blew a save after nine straight successes to open his time as Houston's closer. He actually owns a 4.40 ERA since taking over the closer's role June 5, but four of those runs came in an appearance in a blowout win July 8 -- Harris actually "earned" a hold in that outing. Tuesday's appearance marked his third earned run allowed in 10 save situations as closer, good for a 2.70 ERA.
