Anderson left Thursday's game after being hit by a pitch on the hand in the first inning, the Chicago Tribune's Colleen Kane reports.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson took a pitch off the hand to start Thursday's game and was replaced by Tyler Saladino at shortstop with Carlos Sanchez coming in to play second base. His status will be updated when the team specifies the nature of the injury.

Anderson is out of the lineup Wednesday against the Mariners.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson, who recently shed his prospect status, has predictably hit a bit of a slide as the book is starting to get out on him. He hit .314 in June and .237 so far in July, and has just two walks in 33 games. Anderson is an excellent long-term asset in dynasty leagues, as he has five-category upside at shortstop, but it would not be surprising if he continues to struggle to get on base at a high clip over the rest of the season. Big league pitchers have made their adjustments, and now the onus is on Anderson to make his own adjustments. Tyler Saladino is starting at shortstop and hitting ninth Wednesday.

Anderson hit his fifth home run in a 1-for-4 game in Monday's loss to the Mariners.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson's plate discipline continues to leave something to be desired, as a strikeout Monday brings his BB:K to an ugly 2:44. Still, it's hard to argue with his power -- he now has 15 home runs in just 32 games and an excellent .464 slugging percentage, better than all but eight qualified shortstops thus far in 2016.

Anderson went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and two runs scored in the White Sox's win over the Yankees on
EDGE Analysis
The home run was his fourth in 23 MLB games, or the same number he had in 256 Triple-A plate appearances before his promotion. He still has just the one walk, but he will continue to bat leadoff for the Sox until he falls into a slump.

Anderson went 3-for-4 with his first career walk in Thursday's one-run victory over the Twins.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson singled in each of his first two trips to the plate, giving him 10 multi-hit performances in his first 19 MLB games. The 17th overall pick in 2013 also made a sterling defensive play with one out in the second inning, throwing out Trevor Plouffe from six feet into the outfield grass with a perfect one-hop throw to first. And for good measure, Anderson drew career walk No. 1 in the fourth in his 86th plate appearance overall. The rookie has made a clear statement, with both his bat and glove, that he has no plans of returning to the minors. He's hitting .314/.322/.512 with six doubles, a triple and three home runs since joining the team on June 10.

Anderson went 2-for-5 with a double, two RBI and a run in Wednesday's 9-6 victory over the Twins.
EDGE Analysis
He plated Avisail Garcia and Tyler Saladino with a sixth-inning single, which was preceded by a fifth-inning two-bagger. Although he also went down on strikes in his other three at-bats, the effort still represented Anderson's third straight multi-hit outing, and extended his hitting streak to six games. The 23-year-old has certainly put together a solid start to his major league career since being called up on June 10, slashing .293/.293/.500 with six doubles, a triple, three homers, five RBI and a pair of stolen bases over his first 82 major league at-bats.

Anderson went 2-for-4 with a solo homer and two RBI Sunday against the Blue Jays.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson's third bomb of the year came in the fifth inning to give the White Sox a three-run lead in a game they led throughout. He has now homered in back-to-back games to bring his slugging percentage to .493 in 73 at-bats since joining the team on June 10.

Anderson hit his first home run, a solo shot, as part of a 2-for-4 game in Tuesday's win over the Red Sox.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson is on fire, with multiple hits in four of his past seven games. He has five extra-base hits in that span -- three doubles and a triple to go with the home run. Anderson has yet to take a walk in 49 plate appearances since his call up, but with a .292 average and .479 slugging percentage, it's hard to blame him for swinging.

Anderson went 2-for-5 with a double and a run scored in Sunday's loss to the Indians.
EDGE Analysis
He's hit the ground running since getting called up to the majors, putting together four multi-hit games en route to a .282 (11-for-39) batting average. He's got tremendous upside, but Anderson's 0:11 BB:K is a strong warning sign that he could be in for a rough stretch once the league adjusts to him, however.

Anderson went 3-for-5 with his first career triple and three runs against the Tigers on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Through his first six games in the majors, Anderson's shown that his bat -- lacking though it may be in home-run pop -- does indeed have some lightning in it, as he's smashed four extra-base hits already. The triple ought to be but the first of many for Anderson; however, fantasy owners are more interested in seeing the speedy shortstop swipe some bases, and he hasn't yet attempted a steal.
