Anderson will lead off the lineup for Monday's game against the Tigers.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson made his major league debut on Friday while Adam Eaton will move to the second spot. At the Triple-A Level, Anderson was slashing .304/.325/.409 over 247 total at-bats. The right-handed shortstop was batting especially well against southpaw pitching, for a .346 batting average over 81 at-bats. Today, the White Sox hope he continues that streak against lefty starter Matt Boyd.

Anderson went 2-for-3 with a double and a run scored in his MLB debut Friday.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson slotted ninth in his first career game, but his double kicked off the White Sox's first scoring rally. Anderson could continue to hit toward the bottom of the order as he gets his feet wet, but it would not be a surprise to see him move to the No. 2 spot if he continues to hit.

Anderson will start at shortstop and hit ninth in his MLB debut Friday night, Bruce Levine of WSCR-AM reports.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson has a bright future and is set to be Chicago's regular shortstop moving forward, but the White Sox will let him get his feet wet with the bat, and use him out of the final spot in the batting order to begin with. Regardless of where he hits though, Anderson figures to be a threat whenever he gets on base.

The White Sox recalled Anderson from Triple-A Charlotte on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
Jimmy Rollins struggled to get much going with the bat while serving as the White Sox's primary shortstop, so the team decided to designate him for assignment and call up Anderson -- their top prospect -- on Friday. Given his pedigree, Anderson figures to serve as the White Sox's primary shortstop moving forward, with Tyler Saladino still working in a backup role. Anderson does not bring a lot to the plate in the power department, but he does own a .301 career minor league batting average and stole 49 bags a year ago, so there are several things to like about his game from a fantasy perspective.

Anderson is set to be called up by the White Sox, Jon Heyman of FanRag Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
The team has not confirmed Anderson's promotion, but the White Sox have made a number of roster moves of late, and it appears the latest is the addition of their top prospect to the major league roster. If Anderson is indeed called up, he would be an immediate threat to Jimmy Rollins' playing time; and if the move is permanent, there's a good chance he would replace Rollins as the White Sox's primary shortstop.

Anderson went 0-for-6 with three strikeouts against Triple-A Durham on Sunday, which ended a three-game home run streak.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson did not have a home run as of May 11, but he proceeded to hit three over his next three games. The past week was particularly productive, as he raised his average by 50 points (from .226 to .276). A promotion is still far from imminent, but it could be likely if he continues on his current trajectory.

Anderson, 22, is batting just .225 over his last 10 games for Triple-A Charlotte.
EDGE Analysis
Anderson has fanned 12 times over that span as he continues to strike out entirely too much. He has a 32:3 K:BB in 25 games in 2016. With the White Sox in first place and Anderson struggling, a promotion is not likely in the cards, at least not in the short term.

Anderson, 22, is slashing .302/.328/.405 with two home runs, 31 RBI and 29 steals through 77 games with Double-A Birmingham. Anderson continues to succeed despite impatience at the dish. He has been punched out 69 times while drawing just 12 walks. Nevertheless, he is hitting over .300 and is on pace to steal 40 bases. While his lack of walks may hinder his ability to be a leadoff hitter, the other numbers cannot be ignored.

Anderson (ribs) will miss a few days with bruised ribs after being injured in a collision with teammate Jacob May in Tuesday's game, the Chicago Tribune's Colleen Kane reports. Anderson came off better than May, who suffered a concussion during the collision. One of the toolsiest prospects in all the minor leagues, Anderson is clearly the top position player prospect in Chicago's system. He has plus-plus speed, elite bat speed and could become a 20/30 player in time. Assuming the injury does not affect Anderson's development, he could be a candidate to join the White Sox sometime in 2016.

Anderson left Tuesday's game under his own power after a collision in the outfield. The collision was with Jacob May, who is also a top-10 prospect in Chicago's system, and May seemed to get the worst of it as he was carried off the field. Both players are still being evaluated and Anderson should be considered day-to-day for now.
