Vogt is not in the lineup Saturday against the Yankees, Joe Stiglich of NBC Sports California reports.
EDGE Analysis
Despite doubling home a run in Friday's contest, Vogt will hit the bench with a day game on tap for Saturday. Josh Phegley will fill in for him behind the plate.

Vogt is not in the lineup Tuesday against the Marlins, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
EDGE Analysis
Vogt is improving at the plate after a dreadful start, producing a .755 OPS over his last 30 games. Despite this, he'll cede Tuesday's start to Josh Phegley.

Vogt went 2-for-4 with three RBI from a two-run single and run-scoring double in Sunday's 5-4 loss to the Rays.
EDGE Analysis
Vogt broke the ice against Rays ace Chris Archer with a timely single in the second and extended Oakland's lead to 3-0 with a double to deep center in the fourth. It was the veteran backstop's first three-RBI game of the season and his first multi-RBI effort since May 26. Vogt's bat has started to come alive after a miserable May in which he hit .217, as he's now slashing .292/.320/.458 with a .333 wOBA and 40.0 percent hard contact rate over his first 25 plate appearances of June.

Vogt is out of Saturday's lineup against the Rays, broadcaster Neil Solondz reports.
EDGE Analysis
He is hitting .242/.329/.403 with three home runs over his last 62 at-bats, which unfortunately is a huge upgrade over what he was doing over the first five weeks of the season. Josh Phegley gets the start behind the dish and will hit ninth against righty Erasmo Ramirez.

Vogt is out of the lineup Wednesday against the Blue Jays.
EDGE Analysis
The Athletics will move Vogt to the bench for the second time in the series with the Blue Jays bringing another lefty (Francisco Liriano) to the hill. Josh Phegley will draw the start behind the plate and bat eighth.

Vogt is out of the lineup Monday against the Blue Jays, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
EDGE Analysis
Vogt will bow out of the lineup Monday with Athletics manager Bob Melvin cutting out several of his key left-handed bats to counter Blue Jays southpaw J.A. Happ. Josh Phegley will pick up a start behind the plate in Vogt's stead.

Vogt went 2-for-4 in Friday's 13-3 loss to the Nationals.
EDGE Analysis
Vogt hadn't mustered multiple hits in a game since May 16 and had entered Friday mired in a 4-for-26 slump over his previous eight games. The veteran backstop is currently generating career-low figures across his slash line (.222/.275/.357) and is on pace for his lowest home run and RBI totals since the 2014 season. A career-high strikeout rate (19.9 percent) is partly to blame, along with a career-low .258 BABIP.

Vogt is out of the lineup Thursday against the Indians.
EDGE Analysis
Vogt returned to catching duties Wednesday after getting a day off Tuesday, but will return to the pine for the series finale. Josh Phegley will catch Jharel Cotton for the afternoon matchup, while Khris Davis mans the DH spot.

Vogt will start at catcher and bat seventh Wednesday against the Indians.
EDGE Analysis
The Athletics have turned the catching spot into more of a timeshare between Vogt and Josh Phegley in recent weeks, but Vogt still appears to remain Option 1A. He'll be in the lineup for the third time in four games Wednesday, though it's likely that he'll continue to give way to Phegley at least against left-handed pitching.
