Vogt is out of the lineup Sunday against the Phillies.
EDGE Analysis
Vogt will take a seat against right-handed opposing starter Jeremy Hellickson, showing he is not quite in a true platoon situation with fellow backstop Manny Pina. Vogt will see more starts than most backup catchers, though, making him rosterable in deep formats. He had started three of the last four games heading into Sunday's series finale.

Vogt is not in the lineup Wednesday against the Orioles.
EDGE Analysis
The Orioles are trotting yet another lefty out to the mound Wednesday, so Vogt will head to the bench for a night off. Manny Pina will assume catching duties for the evening.

Vogt is not in the lineup for Monday's contest against the Orioles.
EDGE Analysis
Despite knocking two homers in his first five games for the Brewers, Vogt will take a seat for the second straight game as Manny Pina draws the start. While Vogt seems to have taken over the starting backstop duties from Pina, he'll still receive his fair share of days off, especially when the Brewers are facing a left-handed starter; Vogt is slashing just .071/.176/.071 in 14 at-bats vs lefties this season.

Vogt is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Marlins.
EDGE Analysis
With a strong start with his new club, it appears that Vogt may have overtaken Manny Pina as the team's starting catcher moving forward. Despite that designation, it's safe to assume that Pina will continue to spell the 32-year-old on a semi-regular basis. Vogt will head to the bench Sunday with Pina drawing the start, batting sixth.

Vogt is starting behind the dish and hitting sixth Saturday against the Marlins, and appears to have moved into the primary catcher role.
EDGE Analysis
After hitting a pair of home runs Friday, Vogt seems to have a pretty firm hold on the starting catcher duties against right-handed pitching. Vogt was awful with Oakland, but is on track to turn things around, thanks largely to playing half his games in Miller Park. Look for Manny Pina to start against southpaws.

Vogt went 2-for-3 with two homers and three RBI in Friday's 3-2 win over the Marlins.
EDGE Analysis
He didn't waste much time in making an impact for his new club, hitting a solo shot in the fifth inning and then what proved to be the game-winning two-run shot in the seventh. Vogt only had four homers in 54 games for Oakland this year but 32 combined over the prior two seasons, and the 32-year-old could yet have a big second half spending half his games in Miller Park.

Vogt was claimed off waivers by the Brewers on Sunday, Jerry Crasnick of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Vogt was designated for assignment by the Athletics on Thursday but was quickly nabbed up by the Brewers. It's currently unclear where Vogt will slot in with his new Nation League club, as starting catcher Manny Pina has been a solid contributor -- both offensively and defensively -- for the Brewers this season. Vogt was an All-Star in 2015 and 2016, but was hitting just .217 when DFA'd by the Athletics last week.

The Athletics designated Vogt for assignment Thursday, Jane Lee of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Despite Vogt's down year (.217/.287/.357 in 174 plate appearances), this comes as a bit of a surprise, considering he was an All-Star the previous two seasons. Still, Oakland has decided to move on from the 32-year-old, instead focusing more on Josh Phegley and Bruce Maxwell. Vogt should catch on in some form with another organization, and his future role is worth tracking considering he, even with a part-time role, can help two-catcher fantasy players. In all likelihood, he'll land in a better offensive home park, as well.

Vogt is not in the lineup Wednesday against the Astros, Joe Stiglich of NBC Sports California reports.
EDGE Analysis
Vogt will head to the bench for the third time in five contests as Josh Phegley takes over behind the dish. With the 32-year-old slashing just .218/.289/.359 with four homers in 53 games (173 plate appearances) this season, he appears to be locked in a timeshare with Phegley for the time being.

Vogt is not in the lineup Monday against the Astros, Jane Lee of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
This is the second time in three games that Vogt will sit out. The 32-year-old is having one of the worst seasons of his career, as he's batting just .219 on the campaign, so he'll need to vastly improve if he wants to escape the timeshare behind the plate that's developed between he and Josh Phegley, who's starting in his place Monday.
