Smith is not in the lineup Wednesday against the Angels, Ryan Divish of the Seattle Times reports. Smith has started each of the previous six games, so it appears to just be a regular day off. Nelson Cruz will get the start in right field while Rickie Weeks will fill in as the designated hitter.
