Goldschmidt went 1-for-3 with a double, two walks, an RBI and a run scored in Monday's 10-2 win over the Braves.
EDGE Analysis
While it was a productive night for Goldschmidt from a real-life standpoint in that he reached base three times, those in standard 5x5 leagues haven't reaped many benefits from the first baseman's patient eye at the plate. Goldschmidt has racked up nine walks in his last seven games, but has mustered only four hits in 21 at-bats to go with three runs and three RBI during that span. There's no reason to bench him in any season-long league, but Goldschmidt might not make for as attractive of a DFS lineup cornerstone until he starts piling up the base knocks again.

Goldschmidt is out of the lineup for Saturday's game against the Nationals.
EDGE Analysis
Daniel Descalso will take over at first base and Chris Iannetta will bat cleanup with Goldschmidt getting the day off. There's no indication of a possible injury for Goldschmidt, so this is likely just a routine rest day after he racked up eight strikeouts in his last three games. Look for Goldschmidt to draw back in for Sunday's series finale against Stephen Strasburg.

Goldschmidt went 1-for-4 with a walk, a run scored and two strikeouts in Friday's 6-5 win over the Nationals.
EDGE Analysis
With two hits and eight strikeouts over the last three games, Goldschmidt seems to be pressing of late at the dish, but his sterling track record suggests he'll be able to turn it around before long. Fortunately for the Diamondbacks, they've remained effective as an offensive unit even as their top player has struggled, as Arizona has won two of those three contests while producing 21 runs.

Goldschmidt doubled and walked four times in five plate appearances in Tuesday's 11-2 win over the Reds.
EDGE Analysis
The four walks moved Goldschmidt up to fourth in the majors with 62 on the season, with the first baseman's 11 intentional free passes tying Bryce Harper for the league lead. Opposing pitchers may not have the luxury of working around Goldschmidt for much longer, as the Diamondbacks' acquisition Tuesday of slugger J.D. Martinez will provide another power threat in the heart of the order. Goldschmidt is projected to stick in his normal position in the three hole, while Martinez presumably settles into the cleanup spot.

Goldschmidt went 2-for-3 with a walk and an RBI in Sunday's 7-1 loss to the Braves.
EDGE Analysis
The Diamondbacks' usually potent attack was limited to just nine runs during Atlanta's three-game series sweep, but it was through no fault of Goldschmidt, who went 5-for-13 with a home run and four RBI during that stretch. The All-Star is riding a season-long nine-game hitting streak and should remain a high-end fantasy producer even while the bats surrounding him in the order are slumping.

Goldschmidt went 2-for-5 with a solo home run in Friday's 4-3 loss to the Braves.
EDGE Analysis
The homer was his 21st of the season, but run production has been a little hard for Goldschmidt to come by lately -- he has just three RBI in his last 11 games, all from solo shots. His 1.011 OPS is still a career high, though, and the first baseman's opportunities should pick up once A.J. Pollock finds a groove at the plate from the leadoff spot.

Goldschmidt went 1-for-4 with a solo home run during Friday's win over Cincinnati.
EDGE Analysis
Goldschmidt has now gone 10 consecutive games without a multi-hit showing. He's still posted two solo homers and five runs during that span, though. Even when slumping, Goldschmidt is still tilting the fantasy scales. It's worth noting he's only attempted one stolen base through his past 25 games, so expecting Goldschmidt to suddenly run more in the second half could lead to disappointment.

Goldschmidt went 1-for-4 with a double and run scored in Tuesday's 4-3 loss to the Dodgers.
EDGE Analysis
Goldschmidt remains an early contender for the National League MVP, but he's in the midst of his worst stretch of the season. He's recorded only three hits in 24 at-bats over his last seven games, though he has drawn six walks to maintain a .300 on-base percentage during that span. The fact that Goldschmidt has shown a patient eye at the plate offers encouragement that he's resisted altering his excellent approach despite the lack of hits falling in at the moment, and it shouldn't take long before he resumes raking.

Goldschmidt went 1-for-3 with a solo home run during Thursday's loss to St. Louis.
EDGE Analysis
The set-and-forget first baseman is turning in another sterling campaign with 19 homers, 66 RBI, 13 stolen bases, 69 runs and a .323/.439/.596 slash line. Goldschmidt's numbers put him among the most valuable fantasy hitters, and he remains on pace to post career-high marks in home runs, RBI, runs and batting average.

Goldschmidt is not in the lineup Monday against the Phillies.
EDGE Analysis
It's a rare absence for Goldschmidt, just his third of the year and first since May 28. He will be replaced by Daniel Descalso at first base for the series finale. Goldschmidt has yet to slow down at the plate this year, as evidenced by his .332/.447/.606 triple slash and MLB-leading 65 RBI.
