Goldschmidt went 2-for-4 with a pair of doubles, a walk, two RBI and a run scored in Tuesday's 7-4 win over the Mets.
EDGE Analysis
Goldschmidt busted out of a three-game hitless streak -- his longest of the season -- in his first at-bat of the contest, sending a Tommy Milone offering to left field to put runners on second and third for J.D. Martinez, who clubbed a three-run shot. He would hit another double in the fifth inning to give him 30 for the season, marking the sixth consecutive campaign that he's reached that plateau.

Goldschmidt went 0-for-5 in Tuesday's 3-2 loss to the Mets in 10 innings.
EDGE Analysis
After opening August with hits in 15 of his first 17 games, during which he compiled 1.186 OPS, Goldschmidt has gone 0-for-11 over his last three contests. It's the longest hitless streak of the season for the MVP candidate, but since he's only struck out twice during that stretch, it appears Goldschmidt is still seeing the ball well. With three games to go in the series against a porous Mets pitching staff, it should be a matter of time before the hits trickle in again for Goldschmidt.

Goldschmidt went 1-for-4 with a two-run homer in Wednesday's 9-4 loss to the Astros.
EDGE Analysis
Goldschmidt's eighth-inning blast cut his team's deficit to two, but the hosts promptly responded with four runs in the bottom of the frame to put the contest out of reach. The 29-year-old first baseman has strengthened his NL MVP bid with four home runs in his last eight games, giving him 29 on the year.

Goldschmidt went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk in Sunday's 7-2 loss to the Cubs.
EDGE Analysis
Goldschmidt has been a thorn in the Cubs' side during six matchups this season, contributing five home runs and driving in nine runs to go with four walks. He owns a career-best 1.031 OPS on the campaign and is trending toward a third straight 20-20 campaign, assuming he can record four more steals over the final month and a half of the season.

Goldschmidt went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Wednesday's 3-2 loss to the Dodgers.
EDGE Analysis
Goldschmidt's 443-foot blast to center field -- his 26th of the season -- temporarily tied things up in the fourth inning, but the Diamondbacks had little success mustering further rallies on the night against the Dodgers starter Alex Wood and relievers Josh Fields and Kenley Jansen. Though the All-Star first baseman has cooled down a bit with four consecutive 1-for-4 showings, he's still been able to take his production to greater heights since the All-Star break, submitting a 1.129 OPS while driving in 23 runs in 24 games.

Goldschmidt went 3-for-4 with a triple and two RBI in Friday's 2-1 win over the Giants.
EDGE Analysis
Goldschmidt had no where to go but down following his three-homer, six-RBI performance in Thursday's rain-soaked win over the Cubs, but he still did his best in Friday's series opener to return value for those who invested in him in DFS contests. The MVP candidate had initially struggled to find his form at the plate in the first few games out of the All-Star break, but it's safe to say he's remembered how to mash again. He's gone 17-for-34 at the plate and has compiled an absurd 1.561 OPS over his last 10 games.

Goldschmidt went 3-for-4 with three home runs, six RBI and four runs scored during Thursday's win over the Cubs.
EDGE Analysis
This was Goldschmidt's fist multi-homer game since May 14, and the monster showing has him up to a .320/.440/.591 slash line with 25 bombs, 85 RBI, 15 stolen bases and 86 runs for the year. He continues to provide elite numbers and is building a legitimate case to finish as the top fantasy hitter in 2017.

Goldschmidt went 2-for-3 with a home run, a walk and three RBI in Saturday's 7-1 win over the Cardinals.
EDGE Analysis
The homer was Goldschmidt's first since July 14, ending a 13-game drought for the All-Star. Even with the slight downturn in power in the second half, Goldschmidt is still sitting on a career-best .577 slugging percentage for the season, and has continued to exhibit top-notch plate discipline. He's drawn at least one walk in each of the last seven games and has produced four two-hit efforts during that time, aiding him to a ridiculous .636 on-base percentage.

Goldschmidt went 2-for-3 with a walk and a run scored in Thursday's 4-0 win over the Cardinals.
EDGE Analysis
With one home run since the All-Star break and none in his last 11 starts, Goldschmidt hasn't lived up to his billing as the team's top power threat, but fortunately for the Diamondbacks, recent addition J.D. Martinez, who hit a grand slam Thursday, has picked up the slack. Goldschmidt has at least remained a pillar in batting average and on-base percentage for fantasy owners, as he's now put together three consecutive two-hit performances and five straight games with at least one walk.

Goldschmidt went 2-for-2 with a pair of doubles, three walks and three runs against the Braves on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
He's been an on-base machine lately, drawing eight walks while collecting five hits in 12 at-bats over the last four games. Goldy is also in the midst of an 11-game homer drought, though, and over his last 27 contests, he's hit an uncharacteristically weak .255 with only three homers while striking out at an increased clip. It's quite conceivable that these last few games are indicating a turnaround in progress, though; it's hard not to believe in Goldschmidt at this point.
