Corbin (6-10) took the loss against the Phillies on Tuesday after yielding four runs on six hits and a walk while striking out eight across seven innings.
EDGE Analysis
While he was able to miss a decent number of bats, Corbin fell victim to the long ball once again, surrendering three homers for the second straight game. The 32-year-old has now allowed at least four earned runs in five of his last six outings, taking the loss in four of those games. Corbin, who has pitched to the tune of a 5.74 ERA and 1.144 WHIP this season, is slated to take the mound again Sunday at Atlanta.

Corbin didn't factor into the decision in the second game of Thursday's doubleheader against the Phillies, allowing four runs on eight hits and a walk across five innings. He struck out two.
EDGE Analysis
Corbin had issues with the long ball and gave up homers to Rhys Hoskins, Andrew McCutchen and Alec Bohm, but the struggles of Phillies starter Cristopher Sanchez allowed Corbin to avoid what would've been his 10th loss of the season. The veteran lefty has been pitching poorly of late, and he has allowed at least four earned runs in four of his last five outings while posting a 7.18 ERA across 26.1 innings during that stretch.

Nationals manager Dave Martinez said Corbin would start the second game of Thursday's doubleheader with the Phillies, Mark Zuckerman of MASNSports.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Corbin will end up being pushed back one day in the pitching schedule after he was initially on tap to start Wednesday before the contest was postponed due to COVID-19 concerns within the Washington organization. Through his first two starts of the second half, Corbin has been lit up for 11 runs (10 earned) over 10.2 innings to bring his ERA up to 5.71 on the season. With Corbin in the third season of a six-year, $140 million contract and in the midst of a brutal campaign, he's unlikely to command much trade interest from contending clubs ahead of Friday's deadline.

Corbin won't start Wednesday against the Phillies since the game was postponed due to the Nationals' COVID-19 outbreak, Jeff Passan of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Trea Turner tested positive for the virus Tuesday and was removed during the first inning, and Washington has apparently had multiple players and coaches test positive. It remains to be seen who else is caught up in the outbreak. The game will be made up via a doubleheader Thursday, and Corbin should start one of those games, assuming he's available.

Corbin (6-9) allowed five runs (four earned) on five hits and one walk while striking out four in 5.1 innings to take the loss against the Orioles on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
Corbin tossed three scoreless frames to begin Friday's contest, but he struggled to contain the Orioles' offense after the third inning. The southpaw picked up a win in his final start before the All-Star break, but he's now given up at least five runs in each of his last two outings, and he's been charged with losses in four of his last five appearances. Corbin tentatively lines up to make his next start on the road against Philadelphia on Wednesday.

Corbin (6-7) earned the win over San Diego on Wednesday, tossing six innings and allowing two runs on seven hits and two walks while striking out three.
EDGE Analysis
The southpaw didn't dominate in the contest -- he threw only 66 of 106 pitches for strikes and did not record a single 1-2-3 inning -- but he did enough to notch both a quality start and the win. The victory snapped a two-start losing streak and pushed his record to 6-7 on the season. Corbin finished the first half of the campaign with a disappointing 5.40 ERA, 1.40 WHIP and 7.0 K/9. He isn't likely to pitch again until Washington's series at home against San Diego immediately following the All-Star break.

Corbin (5-7) was tagged with the loss Thursday against the Dodgers after allowing six runs (five earned) on eight hits and a walk while fanning two across 4.2 innings.
EDGE Analysis
Corbin looked in control through the first three innings but the wheels came off shortly after, and he was lifted shortly after giving up a grand slam to Max Muncy -- his second homer of that inning. The southpaw was coming off back-to-back quality starts, but he was unable to repeat that feat against one of the best offenses in the National League. The 31-year-old now owns a 4.58 ERA since the beginning of June (six starts) and is scheduled to pitch again next week on the road against the Padres.

Corbin (5-6) allowed three runs on five hits over six innings in a loss to Miami on Saturday. He struck out six.
EDGE Analysis
Corbin was touched up for a pair of runs in the second inning and gave up a Jon Berti home run in the fifth. He did enough to pick up a quality start, and it was his first outing without issuing a walk since mid-May. Corbin now owns a 5.33 ERA and 1.37 WHIP with a 68:28 K:BB over 82.2 innings of work.

Corbin (5-5) allowed two runs on four hits and one walk while striking out seven in six innings to earn the win against the Mets on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
Corbin gave up home runs in the second and seventh innings Sunday, but he got enough run support from the Nationals and picked up his second consecutive win as a result. The southpaw has now posted a 5.40 ERA and 1.41 WHIP in 76.2 innings this year. He tentatively lines up to make his next start on the road against Miami on Saturday.

Corbin (4-5) earned the win Tuesday against the Pirates after giving up a run on eight hits with seven strikeouts and a walk across 8.1 innings.
EDGE Analysis
It's the first time since May 13 the veteran southpaw allowed fewer than three runs as he delivered his longest start of the season while generating 14 swinging strikes on 110 pitches. Corbin has a 5.60 ERA, 1.46 WHIP and 55:27 K:BB across 70.2 innings, and he tentatively lines up to face the Mets on Sunday.
