Corbin (3-10) allowed three earned runs on seven hits and one walk while striking out six across four innings to take the loss Wednesday against the Orioles.
EDGE Analysis
Corbin allowed three hits in the opening frame but was undone by a pair of solo home runs in the third inning. He has now surrendered multiple long balls in each of his last three starts, giving up a total 16 runs (nine earned) across 13.1 frames. That's added to a miserable season for Corbin, as he has a 6.60 ERA with a 63:28 K:BB across 73.2 frames.

Corbin (3-9) took the loss Thursday versus the Phillies. He allowed nine runs (two earned) on eight hits and a walk while striking out two in 3.1 innings.
EDGE Analysis
Corbin retired the first eight batters in order before a two-out error by Cesar Hernandez in the third inning. From there, it all unraveled, as the Phillies rallied for seven unearned runs. They added another pair of runs in the fourth, bouncing Corbin from the game after a brutal start. Despite allowing at least seven hits in each of his last six starts, he's managed to break even with a 3-3 record in that span. He's at a 6.59 ERA, 1.78 WHIP and 51:10 K:BB across 69.2 innings overall through 14 starts. The 32-year-old will look to gain more command next week in a road start in Baltimore.

Corbin (3-8) picked up the win in Saturday's 8-6 victory over the Brewers, giving up four runs on seven hits and two walks over six-plus innings. He struck out two.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran southpaw got plenty of run support and took an 8-1 lead into the seventh inning before hitting the wall and costing himself his fifth quality start of the season by allowing four straight hits, including two doubles and a homer. Corbin has won three of his last four outings, but his 6.65 ERA, 1.73 WHIP and 55:26 K:BB through 66.1 innings on the year remain grim reminders of the fantasy risk he poses despite his recent success.

Corbin (2-8) earned the victory Sunday in Cincinnati, striking out five in six innings while allowing three runs on nine hits.
EDGE Analysis
After a tumultuous first inning where Corbin allowed three runs on five hits, he settled down and held the Reds' lineup scoreless over the next five frames. It was just the third time in 12 starts where the lefty pitched at least six innings and allowed three or fewer runs. For the season, he has a 6.71 ERA and 1.76 WHIP and opponents are hitting .318 against him in a season where the league batting average is .240. His next start will likely be next weekend against Milwaukee.

Corbin (1-8) took the loss Tuesday, surrendering seven runs on 12 hits and two walks over 4.1 innings as the Nationals were routed 10-0 by the Mets. He struck out six.
EDGE Analysis
Only one player in the majors has as many losses as the left-hander, and that's his teammate Joan Adon -- which just about sums up the Nats' season to date. Corbin has given up five runs or more in three of his last four starts and six of 11 on the year, leaving him with a brutal 6.96 ERA and 1.79 WHIP to go with a 48:24 K:BB through 54.1 innings.

Corbin (1-7) allowed three earned runs on seven hits and two walks while striking out three across 6.1 innings to earn the win Thursday against Colorado.
EDGE Analysis
Corbin entered Thursday having taken the loss in seven of his nine starts on the season. However, he was sharp against the Rockies, highlighted by 10 groundball outs. Corbin managed his third quality start of the season and has maintained a 6.30 ERA and 42:22 K:BB across 50 frames.

Corbin (0-7) took the loss in Saturday's 5-1 defeat at the hands of the Brewers, allowing five runs on eight hits and one walk with three strikeouts in five innings.
EDGE Analysis
Corbin surrendered two runs in the first and three in the fifth to fall in line for the loss but pitched well between, retiring nine of 10 batters faced during the middle three innings. Washington has now lost all nine of the 32-year-old's starts while managing just 16 runs of support. Corbin hasn't pitched well either with a 6.60 ERA though a 4.20 FIP points to better luck ahead. He lines up to start again midweek against Colorado.

Corbin (0-6) allowed five runs on six hits and two walks while striking out five in six innings to take the loss Sunday against the Astros.
EDGE Analysis
Corbin held the Mets scoreless in five innings during his last outing and held the Astros without a run over the first four frames in Sunday's matchup. However, he gave up three homers over the next three innings and took his sixth loss in eight starts this season. The 32-year-old now has a 6.28 ERA and 1.68 WHIP in 38.2 innings to begin the year. Corbin tentatively lines up to make his next start on the road against Milwaukee on Saturday.

Corbin didn't factor into the decision in Tuesday's 4-2 loss to the Mets, giving up three hits and four walks over five scoreless innings. He struck out five.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran southpaw wasn't efficient, tossing 51 of 86 pitches for strikes before exiting, but he left the game with a 2-0 lead only to watch the Washington bullpen cough it up. Corbin has looked much better over his last three starts with a 2.37 ERA, 1.16 WHIP and 16:6 K:BB through 19 innings, but his poor 19.9 percent strikeout rate and career-worst 10.9 percent walk rate on the season indicate how thin his margin for error can be.

Corbin (0-5) suffered the loss against Colorado on Wednesday, completing eight innings during which he allowed five runs (three earned) on nine hits and no walks while striking out three.
EDGE Analysis
It was an odd stat line for the veteran hurler, as he made it through eight innings on only 94 pitches despite allowing a fair amount of traffic on the bases. The efficiency was largely due to Corbin's good control -- he did not walk any batters after issuing multiple free passes in each of his first five starts this season. All of the damage against him was done in the fourth inning, when the Rockies racked up five runs on four hits and benefitted from a fielding error. To Corbin's credit, he bounced back strongly from that frame, allowing only two hits the rest of the way and retiring the final nine batters he faced. The southpaw has been better of late, but he still owns an ugly 7.16 ERA on the season, and he's tentatively lined up to next face the Mets at home early next week.
