Mike Trout hit his 26th homer and took away a Prince Fielder homer Saturday against the Tigers. Fielder's homer was going to be meaningless in the ninth inning of a 6-1 game, but we're sure Trout had fun robbing him anyway. Trout's own homer was a leadoff shot in the bottom of the first off Justin Verlander.

Less surprising than the fact that Trout was involved in a two-run sac fly is that he wasn't the one who scored from second on the play. It looked like Trout would have his second homer of the night on his long shot to right, but Eric Thames caught it at the wall. Erick Aybar was able to score from second afterwards. Despite leading off exclusively for the Angels, Trout has 65 RBI in 90 games. Cue the MVP chants.

Mike Trout went 2-for-3 with an RBI and three steals Monday versus the A's. Trout was 3-for-3 stealing bases, yet he was still thrown out twice on the basepaths. He was gunned down trying to score from third on a grounder in the first and was retired trying to stretch a single into a double in the fifth.

Trout scored three times and tallied two RBI in the game. He's now batting a mind-boggling .355/.408/.582 with 13 homers, 44 RBI and 30 steals in just 69 games this season. Trout is currently leading the league in hitting and stolen bases as a 20-year-old.
