Mike Trout had three hits, including a monstrous solo homer and a game-tying RBI single, helping to lead the Angels to a 6-5 victory over the Red Sox on Tuesday.
Trout finished the night 3-for-5 with a run scored and two RBI. He got the Angels offense started with a bang, launching the longest home run of his professional career off Clay Buchholz to lead off the first inning. He then delivered a clutch RBI single to tie the game at 5-5 in the ninth before Torii Hunter's sacrifice fly walked them off. Trout continues to post mind-boggling numbers, hitting .340 with 25 homers, 101 runs scored, 74 RBI and 41 steals on the season. He's quickly becoming the consensus number one selection in next March's fantasy drafts.
