Mike Trout continued to shred opposing pitching on Thursday, reaching base in all five plate appearances and stealing a base in a 10-9, shootout victory against the Mariners. Trout went 4-for-4 with a walk and a run scored. Entering the game, Trout was hitting .383/.483/.638 over 12 games since returning to the leadoff spot on June 8. He's on a seven-game hitting streak, and, perhaps more impressively, has walked in six consecutive contests. Trout is seventh in the league in batting average (.317), second in runs (53) and third in steals (16). He has 44 RBI and 12 homers in 293 at-bats.

Mike Trout hit his 12th home run of the year in the Angels' loss to the Orioles on Tuesday. The homer was Trout's only hit of the night, giving him 42 RBI as well. Trout has overcome a slow start to the year to bat .303/.373/.561 through 65 games.

Mike Trout is back in left field on Monday night. Trout served as the Angels' center fielder while Peter Bourjos (hamstring) was on the disabled list. Bourjos was activated on Monday afternoon and is starting in center and batting ninth Monday night vs. Baltimore.

Trout has six homers in 14 games this month, and if you don't mind going back to April 30, he's knocked in 17 runs in his last 15 games. There are no guarantees it will last, but for these past couple of weeks, he's again looked like the American League's best player.

The 21-year-old outfielder is hitting .283/.351/.513 with 25 RBI, 23 runs scored and five stolen bases in 36 games played. Another special season is in store.
