Mike Trout collected his third homer and his third triple Wednesday in the win over the A's.
The triple, his second in two days, should have been caught by Yoenis Cespedes in center. The homer was legit, though. Trout has four extra-base hits the last two days.

Mike Trout tripled, doubled and drove in four runs Tuesday against the A's.
Trout had been in a 4-for-32 slump that dropped his average from .307 to .252. While he hasn't gotten hot yet, he's still managed 15 runs scored and 16 RBI in 26 games this season.

Mike Trout finished 2-for-5 with a home run and four RBI in Saturday's 10-0 rout of the Tigers.
Trout hit a grand slam that capped off the Angels' nine-run first inning against Tigers starter Rick Porcello. He also singled in the game. Trout got off to a slow start but is now batting .304 with an .868 OPS, two home runs and 11 RBI through 16 games this season.

Mike Trout hit his first home run of the season in Sunday's win over the Astros.
Trout did most of his damage early with a double and home run off Phil Humber and scored three of the Angels' four runs. It was the type of game you would have expected from him all series against the Astros. Trout hasn't shown any dropoff since being moved to the No. 2 spot in the batting order.

Mike Trout will hit second Thursday night against the Athletics.
Meanwhile, Alberto Callaspo will bat leadoff against right-hander A.J. Griffin. This marks the first time that Trout has batted anywhere other than the leadoff spot since his 40-game stint with the Angels in 2011. Angels manager Mike Scioscia is trying to be creative following three straight losses and the absence of Erick Aybar.

Mike Trout stuffed the box score in Friday's loss to the Dodgers, going 2-for-3 with a homer, two runs scored, three RBI and a stolen base.
Trout is now hitting a spectacular .368/.486/.649 on the spring with two homers, 13 RBI and six steals. While many have predicted quite a bit of regression from his unbelievable rookie season, the reigning AL Rookie of the Year has looked like exactly the same player as he was in 2012.

Mike Trout had a nice day at the dish, going 2-for-3 with a pair of doubles and two RBI in Friday's loss to the Royals.
While many have predicted significant regression from Trout in 2013, you wouldn't know it by how he's played this spring. He's now hitting .390/.519/.683 with a homer, nine RBI and four steals. Even with a drop in his power numbers and batting average from a season to go, Trout is a terrific bet to finish as one of the top overall fantasy performers in 2013. He's being drafted universally as a top-three pick at the moment, and for very good reason.

Mike Trout connected for his first home run of the spring in a win over the White Sox on Thursday.
Trout scored three of the team's 12 runs. The 21-year-old phenom led off the bottom of the first with a homer and settled for a double in his next at-bat after missing another homer by mere inches. He later reached on a force out and stole second base before coming around to score on a Howie Kendrick triple. It's hard to imagine that Trout could better than he was last season, but we'd be happy to be wrong on that.

Mike Trout went 3-for-3 with a stolen base and two runs scored Monday against the Athletics.
Much has been made about Trout's weight upon reporting to spring training, but we're not expecting it to be an issue. Even if there's some minor regression in batting average and power, the 21-year-old outfielder has the potential to be the most dynamic and valuable player in fantasy leagues this season.

Mike Trout reported to Angels' camp at 240 pounds.
Trout, who was listed at 210 pounds last season, gained 10-15 pounds over the winter. In the words of Mike DiGiovanna of the Los Angeles Times, while the 21-year-old looked like an NFL running back last season, he now resembles a fullback. Still, we wouldn't hesitate grabbing him as one of the first players off the board in fantasy drafts this spring.
