This was twice as many innings as Wieters caught in the intrasquad game 12 days earlier. He is slated to do the same in Sunday's game, and appears to be on track to start behind the dish on Opening Day.

Thankfully, this is what spring games are for, and as continues to progress with his catching we should start to get a better idea as to whether he will be ready to catch on Opening Day.
