Wieters (elbow) is 0-for-17 this spring through Tuesday's game while hitting as the designated hitter. It is believed Wieters is still several days from catching, but he has participated as the designated hitter and he is still looking for his first Grapefruit League hit this spring. There is not great cause for concern with spring training slumps, but Wieters draws a red flag here since he is working his way back from Tommy John surgery. He remains questionable for the start of the season.
