Holliday went 3-for-4 with a three-run homer in the 5-1 victory over the Pirates on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
The right-hander appeared to have no power last year when he hit just four homers in 229 at-bats, but this season, Holliday already has 10 bombs in 207 at-bats. Prior to Saturday, Holliday was 3-for-24 (.125) this month, so perhaps the homer and three hits get him going again. In addition to the 10 bombs, he is hitting .256 with 34 RBI and 27 runs.

Holliday is not in the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Reds, Mark Sheldon of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
This is likely just a day off to allow the 36-year-old to rest after starting 14 consecutive games. Holliday hit .306/.358/.490 with three home runs and 10 RBI over that stretch which included matchups with the best competition in the NL in the Cubs, Nationals, and Giants.

Holliday went 3-for-4 with a home run, three RBI, two runs and a strikeout against Milwaukee on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
Holliday had a second consecutive three-hit game, and now he has eight hits in his last three contests. The veteran outfielder saw his average rise to .257, and he keeps showing signs that his early-season slump might be a thing of the past. He has three homers and eight RBI in the last six games.

Holliday went 3-for-5 in Sunday's loss to the Nationals.
EDGE Analysis
All three hits were singles and he wasn't able to generate any counting stats, but Holliday now has five hits in his last two games as he shows signs of snapping out of the slump that had knocked more than 40 points off his batting average since mid-May. He's in a good position to keep his momentum going, though, as the Cards head to Miller Park on Monday, where Holliday holds a .293/.373/.581 career line.

Holliday went 2-for-3 with an RBI, a walk, two runs and a strikeout Saturday against the Nationals.
EDGE Analysis
The 36-year-old left fielder posted his first multi-hit game May 13, and it's a sight of relief for fantasy owners who rely on his bat. 13 of Holliday's 26 hits have gone for extra bases, so as soon as he becomes a more consistent threat with his bat, his numbers should go up. The two-hit performance was certainly a step in the right direction.

Holliday is not in the lineup for Thursday's game against the Nationals.
EDGE Analysis
Despite bashing a three-run home run in the series finale agains the Cubs, Holliday's batting average has dropped further and now sits at .233, leading the Cardinals to give him the day off to rest a bit more. Brandon Moss will take over in left field in his stead.

Holliday is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Diamondbacks.
EDGE Analysis
Holliday tallied just two hits over his last seven games and now sits with a .236 batting average, so manager Mike Matheny decided to give him a day off to clear his hand. Brandon Moss will get the start in left field Sunday in Holliday's place.

Holliday had himself a huge night Thursday against the Angels, going 4-for-5 with two homers, a walk, three RBI and three runs.
EDGE Analysis
The Angels will be glad to see him and the Cardinals leave town after they were swept thanks in no small part to Holliday's seven hits and three homers in the series. He's now hit two more homers in 34 games than he hit in 73 last season, but Holliday's stats weren't impressing anyone before these last three games; the jury's still out on whether the 35-year-old can stay healthy and productive over the course of a full season at this point in his career. That said, at least you know what you're getting when you roll him out in fantasy lineups.

Holliday went 3-for-5 with a home run, two doubles, two RBI and a pair of runs scored in Tuesday's win over the Angels.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran had experienced a power outage of late, with just one extra-base hit in nine games heading into Tuesday, but he was front and center as the Cardinals racked up 14 hits in an easy win. Holliday still has just four home runs and 16 RBI on the season, but he maintains some value hitting third in one of the more potent offenses in the league.

Holliday is not in the lineup for Thursday's game against the Phillies.
EDGE Analysis
The Cardinals will rest a few regular starters for a day game that follows a night game. After starting each of the previous eight contests, Holliday will give way to Brandon Moss in left field.
