Holliday went 3-for-5 in Sunday's loss to the Nationals.
EDGE Analysis
All three hits were singles and he wasn't able to generate any counting stats, but Holliday now has five hits in his last two games as he shows signs of snapping out of the slump that had knocked more than 40 points off his batting average since mid-May. He's in a good position to keep his momentum going, though, as the Cards head to Miller Park on Monday, where Holliday holds a .293/.373/.581 career line.
