Matt Harrison recorded his fifth win after holding the Mariners to one run in seven innings on Tuesday night.
Harrison struggled a bit out of the gate tonight, walking two and giving up a run in the first, but he was otherwise strong. 20 percent of Harrison's 35 career wins have come against Seattle. He's 7-1 with a 2.53 ERA versus the Mariners, compared to 28-21 with a 4.87 ERA against everyone else.

Matt Harrison bounced back with a quality outing Monday, allowing three runs on six hits and a walk over seven innings in a 14-3 win over the Orioles.
He struck out four and gave up a pair of homers, but luckily they were only a solo and a two-run blast. Harrison was terrible in his previous two starts, so it's good to see him bounce back. He'll carry a 5.11 ERA and 1.43 WHIP into this weekend's start against the Angels.

Matt Harrison was lit up for eight runs in 3 1/3 innings by the Blue Jays in a loss Wednesday.
Harrison was getting talked up as the Rangers' best starter last month, but he's seen his ERA jump from 1.66 to 5.40 while giving up 14 earned runs in his last two starts. While he has plenty of value in AL-only leagues, don't expect him to be a quality mixed-league starter all year long.

Matt Harrison had his toughest outing of the year against the Rays on Friday, giving up seven runs (six earned) on 14 hits in his five innings of work.
Harrison was pounded from the get-go in this one, with the Rays jumping on him for four runs in the first inning. Evan Longoria contributed a three-run homer that did the brunt of the damage. He managed to strike out three and walked one in the poor performance. His previously microscopic ERA balloons to 3.38 after this one, and he'll attempt to rebound when he faces the Blue Jays in Toronto next week.

Matt Harrison will make his next start Friday against the Tigers.
The Rangers didn't want back-to-back left-handers in their starting rotation, so Harrison and Yu Darvish will merely swap spots in the rotation. Harrison owns a solid 0.64 ERA and 7/4 K/BB ratio in 14 innings over his first two starts this season, but we would consider leaving him inactive Friday in shallow mixed leagues.

Matt Harrison pitched eight strong innings against the Twins on Friday, allowing just one run on seven hits.
Harrison struck out four and walked two in the impressive performance. He improves to 2-0 on the young season and is sporting a microscopic 0.64 ERA. There had been some speculation on whether or not Harrison would even have a spot in the rotation to begin the season. He seems to have silenced all of those critics for the time being. He'll face a much tougher test next week though when he takes on the Red Sox at Fenway.

Matt Harrison allowed four hits over six innings Sunday night in the Rangers' 5-0 shutout of the White Sox.
Texas pitching allowed six runs in winning two out of three against the White Sox. Harrison was a great surprise last year, but even so, there was some talk about putting him into the bullpen when the Rangers were sniffing around Roy Oswalt. He shouldn't have to worry about that now.

Matt Harrison threw three sturdy innings in Monday's loss to the Mariners, allowing just one run on three hits.
Harrison struck out two. His only blemish came in the third, where he surrendered a solo bomb to Vincent Catricala. Nathan is sporting a 13.50 ERA through his first two spring innings.
