Tim Lincecum was scratched from his scheduled start on Tuesday due to the flu and apparently isn't yet 100 percent. It's possible the Giants could just push him back until this weekend against the Reds.

Matt Cain yielded three runs -- one earned -- over six innings in Sunday's no-decision against the Padres.
Considering Cain was pitching in Petco, it's a little disappointing for owners. But he struck out nine and walked two while giving up just three hits, salvaging a solid fantasy day. Cain has yielded one earned run or less in five of his last six starts, lowering his ERA to 2.99. He'll be a plus option against the Brewers next time out.

Matt Cain was denied a win after throwing seven scoreless innings against the Cubs on Thursday.
Cain left with a 1-0 lead, only to see it blown by Brian Wilson in the ninth. Wilson shouldn't get nearly all of the blame here, though, as the Giants offense was simply pathetic in getting shut down by reliever Marcos Mateo for five innings after Carlos Zambrano left with a back injury. Cain will have to settle for a 4-0 month of June.

Matt Cain tossed seven innings of three-hit ball, but took a no-decision in Sunday's loss to the A's.
Cain was extremely sharp, striking out five, walking none and giving up just one earned run. It snaps a three-start winning streak for Cain, but he did lower his WHIP to a sparkling 1.14. He's headed toward that 1.08 mark he posted a season ago and gets the Indians at home next time out.
