Matt Cain allowed just one unearned run on four hits and a walk in Wednesday's 2-1 victory over the Phillies. He struck out one in the impressive outing. Cain has yielded one earned run or less in six of his last seven starts, lowering his ERA to 2.91. He'll take on the Diamondbacks next time around.
