The home run off Jason Vargas was Teixeira's third in seven games and his fourth of the year against a left-handed pitcher. Teixeira now ranks second in the AL in home runs (14), third in RBI (35) and fifth in walks (28). While his .243 average leaves something to be desired, the 35-year-old is getting it done in three of the other four rotisserie categories.

Teixeira was 1-for-5 with a solo home run in the Yankees loss to Texas on Friday night. While he's hitting just .250 on the year, Teixeira has now slugged 13 home runs and driven in 31 to lead the Yankees in both categories. The average is likely to stay about where it's at, but the power and RBIs in hitter-friendly Yankee Stadium have been a pleasant return on investment for his fantasy owners.
