Stroman (finger) has yet to resume throwing, Mike Wilner of Sportsnet 590 The Fan reports.
EDGE Analysis
Stroman is still dealing with the blister issue that sent him to the disabled list over the weekend. A timetable for his return should emerge once he's able to resume throwing. In the meantime, Thomas Pannone will start in his place Sunday.

The Blue Jays placed Stroman (finger) on the 10-day disabled list Sunday, Shi Davidi of Sportsnet.ca reports.
EDGE Analysis
For the second time this season, Stroman will be shut down due to a nagging blister issue, which resurfaced on his throwing hand during his start Friday against the Yankees. With the Blue Jays determining that Stroman wouldn't be ready to make his next start, he'll be moved to the DL to create a spot on the active roster for Thomas Pannone, who was recalled from Triple-A Buffalo on Sunday. Pannone is slated to enter the rotation in place of Stroman on Wednesday against the Orioles.

Stroman (blister) is expected to hit the 10-day disabled list, Gregor Chisholm of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Although the move isn't official as of yet, it's believed Stroman will go on the disabled list and Thomas Pannone will take his next turn in the rotation. If all goes as planned, Stroman hopes to miss just one start before rejoining the Blue Jays' rotation.

Stroman allowed five runs on six hits and two walks while striking out two across four innings as he didn't factor into the decision Friday against the Yankees. Following the game, it was revealed that a blister on his pitching hand had flared up, which could require a trip to the disabled list, Shi Davidi of Sportsnet.ca reports.
EDGE Analysis
Stroman was spotted a four-run lead to begin the game, but he gave up a pair of runs in the first innings and a three-run blast to Neil Walker in the fourth that put the Yankees out in front 5-4. Stroman didn't appear to bring his best stuff, although it seems likely that his blister had a negative impact on his performance. Stroman will likely be reevaluated in the days to come to determine whether he'll need a stint on the 10-day disabled list.

Stroman allowed one run on five hits and one walk while striking out two across five innings as he didn't factor into the decision Sunday against Tampa Bay.
EDGE Analysis
Stroman surrendered a single run in the fourth inning, though he would leave the game with a one-run deficit before the Blue Jays rallied for the victory. The 27-year-old right-hander has given up one earned run over his previous two outings (12 frames), so he's looked sharp of late, despite a 5.03 ERA through 96.2 innings this season. Stroman's next start lines up for Friday on the road against the Yankees.

Stroman will start Sunday's game as scheduled.
EDGE Analysis
The young hurler left his previous start due to a right middle finger blister, but it seems like the issue is behind him at this point. Stroman holds a disappointing 5.20 ERA and 72:33 K:BB in 91.2 frames this season. He'll take on Tyler Glasnow and the Tampa Bay Rays as he looks to improve in the series finale Sunday.

Stroman (finger) said following Tuesday's game against the Red Sox, "I won't be missing my next start," after leaving the game with a right middle finger blister, Ben Nicholson-Smith of Sportsnet.ca reports.
EDGE Analysis
Stroman cruised through seven innings prior to exiting with the injury, and his next turn through the rotation would come Sunday against the Rays. More will be known depending how the right-hander progresses over the next few days, but the Blue Jays don't have an off day until Aug. 23, which doesn't give the team much flexibility in how to handle their starting rotation if Stroman does have any further issues.

Stroman's injury that forced him to leave Tuesday's game after seven innings has been confirmed as a blister on his right middle finger.
EDGE Analysis
Stroman was cruising against the Red Sox through seven innings before he was pulled during warmups prior to the eighth inning. He was replaced by Ryan Tepera, who was touched for four runs and took a potential win from Stroman.

Stroman (4-8) took the loss Wednesday as the Blue Jays fell 8-3 to the A's, coughing up seven runs on 11 hits and a walk over five innings while striking out six.
EDGE Analysis
His recent run of solid performances ended with a thud, as Stroman gave up more earned runs in this outing than in his last three combined. The right-hander will carry a 5.63 ERA into his next start Tuesday at home against the Red Sox.
