Stroman (0-4) took the loss Wednesday, allowing two runs on six hits and a walk while striking out five over seven innings against the Twins.
EDGE Analysis
Though he yielded a home run and took the loss for the third consecutive start, there was finally a sign of Stroman turning the corner after a miserable April. The one walk, two hits and seven innings were all his best tallies in his six starts, and his ERA fell over a full run in the process from 8.88 to 7.52. He'll look to string together another solid outing and try to notch his first win of the year next time out in Seattle on Tuesday.

Stroman fell to 0-2 on the season after allowing eight runs (six earned) in 5.1 innings Saturday against the Yankees. He gave up five hits (including one home run) and walked four while striking out five.
EDGE Analysis
Stroman was mostly clean through five innings, allowing just one run on a solo shot to Aaron Judge in the third. The wheels came off in the sixth, though, as the Yankees went single, walk, single, walk, error, strikeout, and double before Stroman was finally pulled. The Blue Jays' ace is off to a very poor start to the season, allowing at least four earned runs in each of his first four starts. His ERA now stands at 8.55. His start to the season was delayed slightly by shoulder inflammation and it's possible that the issue is still affecting him, though the team hasn't given any indication that that's the case.

Stroman gave up four earned runs in five innings on nine hits, striking out five and walking two in the Blue Jays' 8-4 victory over the Indians on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
Stroman's early-season struggles continued in this one and he hasn't given up less than four earned runs in any of his three starts in 2018. The 26-year-old right-hander has a brutal 7.98 ERA through 14.2 innings and although it's too early for the panic button, this certainly hasn't been the start fantasy owners envisioned coming off a season where he had a 3.09 ERA in 201 innings. He'll look to get on track in his next start against the Royals on April 18.

Stroman (0-1) surrendered five runs on six hits and five walks across 4.2 innings en route to the loss Saturday against the Rangers. He struck out three.
EDGE Analysis
Stroman's command was less than stellar in this one, as he threw just 44 of his 95 pitches for strikes. He managed to navigate the first four frames with just one run allowed thanks to some nifty escape work, but the Rangers eventually got to him with a string of doubles in the fifth inning. The right-hander will look to lower his lofty 8.38 ERA in his next start Friday against Cleveland.

Stroman gave up four runs over five innings in a no-decision versus the Yankees on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
During his time in Sunday's game, Stroman gave up three hits and three walks. Although he allowed four runs, all of which came in the game's third frame, Stroman managed to fan eight batters during his five-inning effort. He'll look to improve when he next takes the mound against the Rangers on Saturday.

Stroman (shoulder) will start Sunday's game against the Yankees.
EDGE Analysis
Since being sidelined in early March with shoulder inflammation and being ruled out for Opening Day, Stroman has progressed as expected while building up his arm in simulated and exhibition games, so he won't miss a turn in the rotation to begin the season. It's not expected that Stroman will face any restrictions with his pitch count as he closes out the Blue Jays' four-game series with New York.

Blue Jays manager John Gibbons confirmed Monday that Stroman (shoulder) would start the team's fourth game of the season April 1 against the Yankees, Gregor Chisholm of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Stroman entered spring training as the leading candidate to pick up the Opening Day nod, but that will instead fall to J.A. Happ after the 26-year-old experienced shoulder inflammation early in camp. The injury prevented Stroman from making his spring debut until this past Saturday, so he'll be slightly behind the rest of his rotation mates while he looks to build up to a starter's workload over his final two outings before the season begins. With Stroman not set to miss any turns through the rotation, Joe Biagini won't be needed to make a spot start and could head to the bullpen or report to Triple-A Syracuse to begin the campaign.

Blue Jays manager John Gibbons confirmed Sunday that Stroman (shoulder) is tentatively in line to start the Blue Jays' fourth game of the season April 1 against the Yankees, Gregor Chisholm of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
With the inflammation in his throwing shoulder having since subsided, Stroman took the mound for the first time this spring Saturday, tossing two scoreless innings in an exhibition against the Canadian Junior National Team. According to Chisholm, Stroman said after the outing that he was pleased with his changeup and sinker and expects his slider to improve in his subsequent spring starts. Because he remains further behind his rotation mates in terms of his innings progression, Stroman isn't under consideration for the Opening Day nod, but his availability for the team's first series means that the Blue Jays won't require a temporary starter in his stead.

Stroman (shoulder) said he expects to pitch in the season-opening four-game series against the Yankees, Ben Nicholson-Smith of Sportsnet.ca reports.
EDGE Analysis
Stroman, who has been slowed in camp by a bout of shoulder inflammation, said he felt physically strong after tossing a pair of scoreless innings in his spring debut against the Canadian National Junior team Saturday. While he's already been ruled out for Opening Day, the 26-year-old righty is expecting to make his season debut April 1, the team's fourth game of the season.

Stroman (shoulder) will make his spring debut Saturday, Rob Longley of the Toronto Sun reports.
EDGE Analysis
Stroman is scheduled to pitch a few innings against the Canadian National Junior team, a natural progression from his successful bullpen session Monday. The 26-year-old has already been ruled out for Opening Day, but a return for the opening four-game series is not out of the question, according to Ben Nicholson-Smith of Sportsnet.ca. An updated timetable is likely to become available following Saturday's outing.
