Williamson is expected to play seven innings in his second rehab start at Triple-A Sacramento on Monday, John Shea of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
EDGE Analysis
Williamson struggled in his first game going 0-for-3 with three strikeouts, but even if the 26-year-old returns soon, he probably won't see the field often as a reserve outfielder in an already-deep outfield consisting of Angel Pagan, Denard Span, Hunter Pence, and Gregor Blanco.

Williamson (shoulder) began a rehab assignment at Triple-A Sacramento on Sunday, Amy Gutierrez of CSN Bay Area reports.
EDGE Analysis
While this is promising news for the club, it's unlikely that Williamson will see frequent playing time upon his return. The Giants finally have a healthy outfield of Angel Pagan, Denard Span, and Hunter Pence, so it's expected that Williamson will simply provide depth to the roster and see an occasional start if a teammate needs a day off.

Williamson (shoulder) has resumed taking swings off a tee, Alex Pavlovic of CSN Bay Area reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Giants placed Williamson on the DL less than a week ago, but his resumption of baseball-related activities indicates that he's not due to miss significant time. Assuming the triumvirate of Hunter Pence, Denard Span and Angel Pagan are still healthy by the time Williamson is eligible to return, the 26-year-old may have to settle for reserve duties.

Williamson (shoulder) was placed on the 15-day disabled list on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
What was thought to just be a jammed shoulder turned out to be a strain for the Giants' 26-year-old outfielder. Williamson had been improving at the plate in recent outings, having gone 9-for-30 with three home runs over the last 14 days. However, he'd been spending less time in the lineup since Hunter Pence returned from his rehab assignment, so it's likely that Williamson will be used as a backup once he returns from the DL.

Williamson suffered a jammed shoulder Sunday against Washington and is day-to-day, Alex Pavlovic of CSN Bay Area reports.
EDGE Analysis
San Francisco manager Bruce Bochy said Williamson underwent tests and nothing more serious was found, but he jammed the shoulder "pretty hard." It doesn't sound like this injury will land Williamson on the disabled list, but he may need a day or two out of the lineup before he's able to return.

Willamson exited Sunday's game in the sixth inning due to injury, Alex Pavlovic of CSN Bay Area reports.
EDGE Analysis
The exact cause of the injury remains unclear, but he was replaced by Gregor Blanco after a diving play and throw from the knees. Fortunately for the Giants, Hunter Pence recently returned from the disabled list, meaning Williamson will likely have plenty of time to rest up when Denard Span (quad) returns to the lineup Tuesday.

Williamson went 2-for-4 with a walk and two runs in Tuesday's 9-7 win over the Reds.
EDGE Analysis
Williamson did a good job of getting on base in front of San Francisco's big-name bats. He was out of the lineup Monday, but should start to see more regular playing time if he can continue to hit out of the pivotal three-spot in the order.

Williamson is out of the lineup Monday against the Reds.
EDGE Analysis
Williamson had started three of the last four games, even getting starts against righties, going 6-for-13 with two home runs over that stretch. He will get the night off Monday, with Jarrett Parker getting the start in right field, batting third.

Williamson got another start in right field Sunday, going 2-for-4 in a loss to the Yankees.
EDGE Analysis
While the Giants have been struggling as a whole, Williamson has been one of the few bright spots for the club. He has gone 6-for-13 with two homers and six RBI over his last four appearances. He started three of those games, signalling that he has surpassed the struggling Gregor Blanco for playing time in right field. Those in deeper leagues in need of power should take a look at Williamson.

Williamson went 2-for-5 with a solo homer and game-winning RBI single in Saturday's 2-1 extra-inning victory over the Yankees.
EDGE Analysis
The 26-year-old was responsible for all of the Giants runs on the day, blasting his second homer in the last three games in the fifth, and then plating pinch-hitter Trevor Brown with a 12th-inning single off Anthony Swarzak. Williamson now has hits and at least one RBI in three straight games.
