Williamson was optioned back to Triple-A Sacramento on Tuesday following the return of Angel Pagan, Alex Pavlovic of CSN Bay Area reports.
EDGE Analysis
Williamson has been back and forth between the Giants and Sacramento this season, and will return to Triple-A on Tuesday with Pagan's activation off the disabled list. He has only collected five hits in 30 at-bats with the Giants but one of them was a game-winning home run against David Price on Wednesday. Williamson has hit .287/.316/.503 with six home runs and 29 RBI in 143 at-bats for Sacramento this season, and will likely earn another chance with the Giants in the near future.

Williamson was the hero Wednesday, smacking the deciding home run off of David Price in a 2-1 win over the Red Sox.
EDGE Analysis
As expected, Williamson got the start with a lefty on the mound and hit his first career home run. While he did hit a clutch homer, he also struck out two more times. He has now struck out 16 times in 53 career at-bats and has yet to induce a walk. Williamson should continue to platoon with Jarrett Parker in right field until Hunter Pence (hamstring) returns.

Williamson was recalled from Triple-A Sacramento on Thursday, Andrew Baggarly of San Jose Mercury News reports.
EDGE Analysis
Space on the 25-man roster was made for Williamson when Hunter Pence was moved to the disabled list with a hamstring injury on Thursday. Williamson is slashing .188/.235/.250 in 16 major league at-bats this season.

The Giants optioned Williamson to Triple-A Sacramento on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
During his recent stint with the big club, Williamson strung together three hits in 13 at-bats, to which he added three runs scored and one RBI. With the exchange of outfielders -- Williamson for Jarrett Parker -- the former will continue to serve as organizational depth.

Williamson is in the starting lineup for Monday's game against the Reds, batting sixth and playing left field, Henry Schulman of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
EDGE Analysis
With Angel Pagan (hamstring) expected to miss two-to-three days, Williamson received a callup and will slot into the lineup instead of the Giants other backup outfielder Gregor Blanco. This may be just because a left-handed pitcher is on the mound for Cincinnati, but if Williamson can bring his .355/.377/.629 slash line from Triple-A into the majors, he could push for more playing time even when Pagan returns to action.

Williamson was recalled from Triple-A Sacramento on Monday, Amy Gutierrez of CSN Bay Area reports.
EDGE Analysis
It will be the second trip up to the big league club of the season for Williamson, who went 0-for-3 with a pair of strikeouts during a brief stint last month. The 25-year-old has torn up the Triple-A ranks, slashing .355/.382/.629 with 22 hits, 18 RBI and four homers in 15 games (62 at-bats). In order to clear a spot on the 25-man roster, the Giants optioned reliever Steven Okert to Sacramento.

Williamson is being promoted to Triple-A Sacramento, MiLB.com's Jake Seiner reports. A third-round draft pick in 2012, Williamson will turn 25 in July, and he's the top outfield prospect in San Francisco's organization. After missing most of 2014 in the wake of Tommy John surgery, Williamson has bounced back nicely this year, posting a .293/.366/.429 slash line for Double-A Richmond. He only has five home runs and three stolen bases in 69 games, but he did hit 25 homers for High-A San Jose back in 2013.
