Marlins activated 1B Logan Morrison from the 60-day disabled list.
LoMo batted only .182/.262/.291 with two homers and 10 RBI over 15 games on his rehab assignment, but the important thing is that his surgically-repaired knee is feeling fine. He'll be the club's regular first baseman and hopes to provided a much-needed jolt to the Marlins' offense.

Logan Morrison (knee) is joining the Marlins in New York and will be activated from the disabled list before Sunday's series finale against the Mets.
No word yet on a corresponding move. In 15 games on his minor league rehab assignment, Morrison hit .182/.262/.291 with two homers and 10 RBI. With his return, and Giancarlo Stanton shortly to follow, the anemic Marlins offense should soon get a much-needed boost.

Logan Morrison (knee) will shift his rehab assignment to Double-A Jacksonville on Monday.
Morrison has spent the past week with the High-A Jupiter Hammerheads, collecting three hits and one RBI in 13 at-bats. He's working his way back from September surgery to repair a torn patella tendon in his right knee and is currently aiming to join the Marlins in early June. NL-only leaguers might want to stash him now.

Logan Morrison (knee) went 2-for-5 with a pair of singles Monday in his first rehab game with High-A Jupiter.
Morrison, who is coming back from knee surgery, served as the designated hitter. The 25-year-old is permitted to spend 20 days on his rehab assignment and will likely need most of it to shake the rust and get comfortable. However, assuming all goes well, he should join the Marlins' lineup in early June.

Marlins manager Mike Redmond said Tuesday that he's unsure when Logan Morrison (knee) will begin a rehab assignment.
Morrison is playing in extended spring training games, but the Marlins want him to get more at-bats. "He hasn't had many at-bats so I don't know how far out he is before he starts his 20-day rehab," Redmond said. Barring a setback, LoMo should return sometime next month.

Logan Morrison (knee) went 2-for-3 with a homer and a walk during an extended spring training game on Friday.
Morrison, who is coming back from surgery to repair a torn patellar tendon in his right knee, is expected to be ready for a minor league rehab assignment next week. While he'll likely need a lengthy rehab stint and quite a few at-bats before he's ready to return to the Marlins' lineup, he's worthy of stashing now in deeper mixed leagues. Look for him to return to action at the beginning of June.
