Logan Morrison hit his third home run in his past four games Saturday against the Cardinals.
Unfortunately for the Marlins, he was also involved in an embarrassing play in the bottom of the ninth inning, as he let a relay throw from Giancarlo Stanton go under his glove which resulted in the winning run scoring from third base. Gaffe aside, there's reason to feel good about Morrison from a fantasy perspective. Still just 25 years old, he's batting .318/.400/.621 in 19 games since returning from knee surgery.

Logan Morrison hit a solo home run Friday against the Cardinals.
His second-inning blast off Jake Westbrook was the only offense of the game for the Marlins. Morrison is now batting .323/.408/.597 with three home runs and right RBI in 18 games since returning from knee surgery. With dual eligibility between first base and the outfield, he's worth a look in most mixed formats.

Logan Morrison went 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBI in a loss to the Braves on Tuesday.
The homer was Morrison's second of the year, giving him seven RBI in 16 games. After missing the first 2 1/2 months of the season, LoMo has a .321/.387/.554 and has looked pretty good since his return.

Logan Morrison went 2-for-5 with a home run, a triple, two RBI and two runs scored in Friday's 6-3 win against the Giants.
LoMo batted only .182/.262/.291 with two homers and 10 RBI over 15 games on a rehab assignment, but he's proved the health of his surgically-repaired knee by raking to the tune of a .333/.379/.593 slash line over eight games since his activation. He should be active in all NL-only leagues and on mixed leaguer's radars. Morrison's home run Friday was his first of the season.

Logan Morrison (back) is not in the Marlins' lineup Sunday.
Morrison hasn't played since Tuesday due to lower back stiffness. The Marlins haven't indicated that the DL might be a possibility, so consider LoMo day-to-day. Ed Lucas is starting at first base Sunday.

Logan Morrison was scratched from Friday's lineup due to a sore back.
It's not clear when the injury occurred, but it's worth noting that he also sat out Wednesday's game. Consider him day-to-day for now.

Logan Morrison is not in Wednesday's lineup against the Brewers.
No word on the reason for his absence, but the Marlins could just be easing him back into action. Greg Dobbs will start in his place at first base.

Logan Morrison went 2-for-4 with a walk Sunday in his first game of the 2013 regular season.
Morrison spent the first two months of the year in rehab mode from his September 2012 knee procedure. The young first baseman should provide a nice spark for a Miami offense that badly needs that sort of thing and may carry some fantasy value in deeper mixed leagues.
