FOX Sports' Ken Rosenthal reports that Logan Morrison is drawing "significant" trade interest. Rosenthal adds that no deal is close, but the Marlins are "listening." Aside from Giancarlo Stanton, LoMo was the most asked about Miami player at the GM meetings, according to Rosenthal. Morrison has batted just .236/.321/.387 over the last two seasons for the Marlins and has been limited to 178 games due to injuries. He's arbitration-eligible for the first time this winter.

Logan Morrison is not in the Marlins' lineup Monday. Morrison is batting just .231/.321/.328 since the All-Star break and .190/.277/.328 in September. Ed Lucas will start at first base against the visiting Phillies.

Logan Morrison went 0-for-3 with a strikeout in a loss to the Nationals on Friday. Morrison is batting just .167 (9-for-54) this month and has an underwhelming .243/.332/.384 batting line on the year. It's easy to forget that he's just 26 years old, but we're still waiting on him to deliver on the promise he showed in the early part of his career.

Logan Morrison belted a mammoth 484-foot homer, the longest in the history of Marlins' park, powering the Marlins to a 7-0 victory over the visiting Nationals on Friday. Morrison finished the night 2-for-5. His two-run shot off Dan Haren in the third inning increased the Marlins advantage to 5-0, which was more than enough offense for Jose Fernandez who dominated the Nationals hitters all night. Morrison is hitting .261/.354/.419 with six long balls and 32 RBI in 65 games this season.

Logan Morrison homered and walked twice Wednesday against the Cubs. The Marlins have gotten OBPs of .287 and .293 from the top two spots in the lineup this year, yet for some reason, Morrison's recent little slump has gotten him dropped to sixth in the order. Granted, he hasn't shown a lot of power yet since returning from knee surgery -- the homer today was just his fifth in 229 at-bats -- but he entered the game with a .349 OBP. What Mike Redmond just doesn't seem to get is that the best way for the Marlins to score runs is to have runners on base when Giancarlo Stanton comes to the plate.

Logan Morrison is slashing .340/.404/.468 with nine RBI over 12 August games. LoMo, activated from the 60-day disabled list on June 9, is batting an encouraging .276/.366/.435 over 47 games. He posted an .837 OPS over 244 at-bats as a 22-year-old rookie in 2010, but dropped off to a .240/.321/.441 line over the last two seasons. No longer being asked to play the outfield, Morrison appears more comfortable at the plate.

Logan Morrison went 4-for-5 and plated four runs on Friday, powering the Marlins to a 10-0 victory over the Indians. Morrison also scored a pair of runs in the game. He got the scoring started with an RBI double in the first inning, added an RBI single in the second and capped it off with a two-run triple in the eighth inning. He's been a potent bat in the middle of the Marlins lineup since returning from the DL, hitting .273/.364/.455 with four homers and 17 RBI in 37 games.

Logan Morrison had a go-ahead RBI single off Matt Harvey in Thursday's win over the Mets. It was nice to see, as Morrison entered the day hitting just .184 (7-for-38) with one RBI in 11 games since the All-Star break. The good news is that he continues to show excellent patience, giving him value in OBP leagues.

Logan Morrison is not in the Marlins' lineup Monday. He's getting a day of rest against southpaw Drew Pomeranz. Ed Lucas is handling first base Monday.
