Ryan Divish of the Seattle Times reports that Logan Morrison (hamstring) could be headed to the disabled list. The Mariners are calling up Nick Franklin, and Divish sees a Morrison DL stint as the most logical corresponding move. LoMo injured his right hamstring in Monday's game and according to Divish had it "heavily bandaged" Tuesday. The 26-year-old is batting just .150/.227/.150 with no homers and no RBI in eight games so far this season.

Logan Morrison (hamstring) is available off the bench for Tuesday night's game against the Rangers. LoMo left Monday's game because of tightness in his right hamstring. He does not have a strain and should return to the starting lineup by the end of this week.

Logan Morrison left Monday's game against the Rangers with a tight right hamstring. Morrison's turn didn't come up in the top of the first inning, but then he didn't take his position in right field in the bottom of the frame. It's possible he suffered the injury during pre-game drills but didn't alert manager Lloyd McClendon until it was too late. Consider him day-to-day for now.

Logan Morrison went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run against the A's on Saturday. The first baseman had three RBI on the day, giving him eight for the spring. After an offseason trade from the Marlins, LoMo will be an everyday player for the Mariners this year, splitting time primarily between first base and designated hitter.

Logan Morrison finished Thursday's game against the D'Backs 2-for-4 with a home run. Morrison took Bryan Woodall deep for a solo shot in the fifth inning, his first of the spring. He also brought his Cactus League average up to .303 in 33 at-bats. A healthy and productive Morrison would be a boost to a revamped Mariner offense.

Logan Morrison singled twice and drove in a run Thursday against the Padres. Morrison was lifted after two at-bats, a decent start to Cactus League action for the DH. The Mariners, though, aren't just looking at his ability to be productive, but simply his ability to stay healthy. Morrison has had issues with the patellar tendon in his right knee, forcing him to play in only 175 games since the start of 2012.

Mariners and 1B/OF Logan Morrison avoided arbitration by agreeing to a one-year, $1.75 million contract. Morrison requested $2.5 million and was offered $1.1 million from the Mariners when arbitration figures were exchanged last month, so the two sides settled for a little under the midpoint, but he can earn an additional $350,000 with incentives. The 26-year-old was acquired from the Marlins in December and remains under team control through 2016.

Logan Morrison requested $2.5 million and was offered $1.1 million from the Mariners when arbitration figures were exchanged on Friday. That's a pretty wide gap between the two sides, but it's likely they'll end up meeting somewhere in between. The 26-year-old is still trying to recapture the magic of his breakthrough 2011 campaign with the Marlins.

Clark Spencer of the Miami Herald reports that the Mariners have acquired Logan Morrison from the Marlins for right-handed reliever Carter Capps. Seattle just got done wrapping up a one-year contract with Corey Hart, and now comes this LoMo trade. One of the two will have to get regular action in the outfield next season, which is a bit concerning. But the potential offensive upgrade is great. LoMo, 26, was a .249/.337/.427 hitter in four seasons with the Marlins.

Joel Sherman of the New York Post adds the Cubs to the long list of Logan Morrison suitors. The Brewers, Pirates, Mariners, Rays and Orioles have also been mentioned as possible trade partners for the Fish. LoMo, 26, is highly likely to be moved this winter. The Cubs would presumably use him in a corner outfield role with Anthony Rizzo locked in at first base.
