Hendricks (13-11) tossed 7.2 innings of one-run ball to record the win Sunday against the White Sox. He allowed four hits and struck out five.
EDGE Analysis
Hendricks displayed his typical good control, as he did not issue any walks and efficiently retired 23 batters on 103 pitches (73 for strikes). The righty has now strung together seven straight outings with two earned runs or fewer allowed, which has helped him lower his season ERA to a solid 3.49. Hendricks figures to make his final start of the season on Friday against the rival Cardinals, and he'll look to put an exclamation point on a strong finish to the year for fantasy owners.

Hendricks gave up four runs (one earned) on six hits over five innings and did not factor into the decision in Thursday's 10-inning win over the Nationals. He struck out six.
EDGE Analysis
Hendricks pitched reasonably well and could have escaped with his 12th win of the season with better defense behind him. The big blow against the righty was a two-run home run by Mark Reynolds in the fourth inning, with both of the runs going down as unearned. Hendricks has allowed two earned runs or fewer in his last four starts, and he'll look to keep rolling Tuesday in a pivotal matchup against the Brewers.

Hendricks (11-10) picked up the win Saturday, allowing one run on six hits and two walks over six innings while striking out four in a 7-1 victory over the Phillies.
EDGE Analysis
It was the right-hander's fourth quality start in his last five trips to the mound, and Hendricks now sports a 3.26 ERA and 48:8 K:BB in 49.2 innings over eight starts since the All-Star break. He'll look to keep things rolling in his next outing Thursday on the road against the Nationals.

Hendricks (10-10) fired seven shutout innings and earned a victory Sunday, allowing just two hits and a walk while striking out five in the 9-0 win over the Reds.
EDGE Analysis
Hendricks was absolutely dealing Sunday afternoon, allowing just three baserunners and holding Cincinnati off the scoreboard. The 28-year-old is now sporting a 3.84 ERA and a 131:38 K:BB across 158.2 innings of work. He'll look to get back above .500 in Philadelphia on Friday.

Hendricks (9-10) took the loss Tuesday against the Tigers, allowing two earned runs on 10 hits and a walk. He struck out three.
EDGE Analysis
Hendricks allowed plenty of baserunners all night, but after allowing two runs in the first inning, he was able to avoid any further damage. However, the righty only got one run of support and suffered his first loss since July 24. Hendricks now has a 4.04 ERA on the season and will look to get back into the win column in his next outing, which is scheduled for Sunday against the Reds.

Hendricks (9-9) picked up the win Wednesday against the Brewers, allowing four runs on seven hits and two walks while striking out eight across six innings.
EDGE Analysis
Hendricks was able to keep the Brewers in check for the most part in this one, allowing just two extra-base hits while matching his season-high strikeout total. The right-hander hasn't been dominant in August (5.09 ERA in three starts), but he's picked up a pair of wins thanks to some solid run support, which was the case again Wednesday as the Cubs piled up seven runs through the first four innings. Next up will be a road start against the lowly Tigers on Tuesday.

Hendricks picked up a quality start in Friday's win over the Nationals but did not factor into the decision. He lasted six innings and allowed a pair of runs on eight hits while striking out five.
EDGE Analysis
Hendricks wasn't dominant but limited the damage, scattering the Nationals' hits and only allowing one extra-base knock. The outing lowered his season ERA to 4.02. He'll next take the hill Wednesday in a key divisional matchup against the Brewers.

Hendricks (8-9) picked up the win Saturday against the Padres, as he allowed four runs over 5.2 innings. He gave up five hits and struck out seven.
EDGE Analysis
Hendricks cruised through the first three innings but ran into some trouble in the fourth, as he allowed three runs in the frame, including one on a home run by Austin Hedges. However, a five-run second inning by the Cubs gave the righty all the support he would need to grab the win. Hendricks still has a disappointing 4.07 ERA after recording a cumulative 2.51 mark over the previous two seasons, but he could be a good source of wins the rest of the way with a strong lineup behind him. He'll look to record another win his next start, which is slated for Friday against the Nationals.

Hendricks threw 4.2 innings in Thursday's victory over the Cardinals, allowing three runs on nine hits, a walk and a hit by pitch, striking out four. He exited with the lead but did not pitch the five innings required to get the win.
EDGE Analysis
Hendricks was in trouble throughout and was perhaps lucky to not give up more runs. He was fortunate that none of the his 10 other baserunners were on base when Tommy Pham hit a solo shot in the second inning. It was hardly a vintage performance from Hendricks, who's having the worst season of his career. His ERA now sits at a career-high 3.99, while his 18.3 percent strikeout rate and 46.5 percent groundball rate are each lower than all of his three previous full seasons. He's also already given up a career-high 18 homers. He'll look to right the ship Tuesday against the Diamondbacks.

Hendricks allowed three runs on seven hits and a walk across five innings during Tuesday's 5-3 win over the Tigers. He struck out two and did not factor in the decision.
EDGE Analysis
Hendricks totaled only 78 pitches (54 strikes) but was pulled in favor of pinch-hitter Tommy La Stella in the bottom of the fifth inning, who started a three-run rally and which got Hendricks off the hook for the loss. The 28-year-old has a 1-4 record with 6.75 ERA and 1.67 WHIP in six starts since the start of June, and is currently scheduled to take the mound at San Francisco next Monday.
