Hendricks (5-4) picked up the win in Wednesday's 2-1 victory over the Astros, allowing one run on four hits and a walk over eight innings while striking out seven.
EDGE Analysis
The right-hander closed out May the same way he began it, by saving the Cubs' bullpen. Hendricks has worked at least eight innings in four of his last six starts, posting a 1.81 ERA, 0.74 WHIP and 37:5 K:BB in 44.2 innings over that stretch with a 4-0 record. He'll try to keep his momentum going Tuesday, at home against the Rockies.

Hendricks allowed three runs across six innings while not factoring into the decision in Friday's loss to the Reds. He gave up six hits and a walk, while striking out nine.
EDGE Analysis
Hendricks left the game in line for his fifth win of the season, but the Cubs' bullpen allowed three runs over three innings to blow the lead. The nine strikeouts are the most for Hendricks since he fanned 11 across seven innings in a start back on April 19. The righty will take a 3.34 ERA into his next outing against a strong Astros offense on Wednesday.

Hendricks improved to 4-4 in Sunday's 6-5 victory over the Nationals, limiting the opposition to four runs on six hits and two walks over 5.2 innings while striking out four.
EDGE Analysis
After allowing only one earned run in 25 innings spanning his last three starts, Hendricks had nowhere to go but down in Sunday's turn. While the right-hander was unable to keep his momentum going and missed out on a quality start, he made only one major mistake on the night, serving up a three-run home run to Anthony Rendon in the sixth inning. He still exited the contest with the lead and evened his record after the Chicago bullpen steered clear of a late implosion. The right-hander is slated to return home for his next start as he faces the Reds during the upcoming weekend.

Hendricks (3-4) pitched eight innings of one-run ball to grab the win Tuesday against the Reds. He allowed just three hits and a walk, while striking out seven.
EDGE Analysis
Joey Votto took Hendricks deep in the fourth inning, but the righty otherwise completely stymied the Reds. He also helped his own cause with three hits and two RBI. Hendricks has now gone at least eight innings in his past three starts. In those three outings, the 29-year-old has allowed just one run across 25 innings with a 17:1 K:BB. The strong stretch has allowed Hendricks to lower his ERA to 2.86, and he'll look to keep rolling in his next start, which is scheduled for Sunday against the Nationals on the road.

Hendricks allowed one run (no earned) on five hits while striking seven through eight innings in a no-decision against the Marlins on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Hendricks generated 25 called strikes on his way to his third quality start. He usually limits the free passes, but he has been exceptional as of late, allowing only one walk in his last three starts combined. The 29-year-old has a 2-4 record with a 3.19 ERA and a 34:8 K:BB through seven starts this season. Hendricks will make his next start Tuesday in Cincinnati.

Hendricks (2-4) allowed no runs on four hits and no walks in winning a complete-game shutout over the Cardinals on Friday. He struck out three.
EDGE Analysis
Hendricks was outstanding, winning his ninth consecutive start. The right-hander permitted only four singles, no more than one in any inning. The 29-year-old brought his ERA and WHIP down to 3.93 ERA and 1.43, and he'll look to build upon this excellent outing in his next scheduled start Wednesday at home against Miami.

Hendricks (1-4) took the loss Friday, coughing up seven runs on 10 hits and a walk over five innings while striking out three as the Cubs fell 8-3 to the Diamondbacks.
EDGE Analysis
The right-hander put together a 1-2-3 second inning on three grounders, but otherwise Hendricks had little luck on all the balls Arizona was putting into play against him. He'll take a 5.33 ERA and 24:8 K:BB through 25.1 innings when he takes the mound again next Friday, at home against the Cards.

Hendricks (1-3) secured the win by striking out 11 over seven scoreless innings Friday against the Diamondbacks. He allowed three runs and two walks.
EDGE Analysis
Hendricks turned in his most impressive outing of 2019 to this point, blanking Arizona through seven frames while receiving more than enough run support to earn his first win. The 29-year-old has held his opponents to two or fewer runs in three of his four starts, although the issue has been his ability to work deep into ballgames. His longest outing entering the day had been five innings versus the Angels on Saturday. Hendricks will carry a 3.54 ERA with 21 punchouts over 20.1 frames into his next start, which looks to come Thursday against the Dodgers.

Hendricks (0-3) allowed three runs (two earned) on six hits with two strikeouts and a walk across five innings in a loss to the Angels on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
The 29-year-old looked sharper Saturday, but he still hasn't gone deep in a game, and unearned runs are hurting him. Through three starts, Hendricks has yielded six unearned runs. He hasn't received a lot of run support either. Hendricks is 0-3 with a 5.40 ERA, 2.18 WHIP and 10 strikeouts in 13.1 innings. His next scheduled start is against the Diamondbacks at home on Friday.

Hendricks (0-2) gave up four runs on eight hits with one walk while striking out four through four innings in a loss to the Brewers on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
Hendricks allowed nine batters to reach base in only four innings of work and ultimately received credit for the loss against the Brewers. It's been a rough start to the season for Hendricks as he has a 6.48 ERA through two starts. At his best, Hendricks has tremendous ability to suppress home runs and walks, but the right-hander has now surrendered three home runs and four walks in only 8.1 innings of work. His next start will come Saturday against the Angels at Wrigley Field.
