Hendricks (6-9) took the loss Sunday against the Cubs, allowing four runs on five hits and three walks over 4.1 innings. He struck out two.
EDGE Analysis
The Angels right-hander conceded three or more free passes for the sixth time this season in his first ever appearance against his former club. Hendricks limited the Chicago lineup -- yielding two doubles and three singles -- but wound up being tagged with three or more runs for the third consecutive outing. The 35-year-old remains difficult to roster in fantasy thanks to a 5.04 ERA, 1.32 WHIP and 87:37 K:BB over 130.1 total frames while giving up 21 homers. Hendricks is currently in line to make his next start at Houston next weekend.

Hendricks allowed four runs on eight hits and three walks while striking out three over six innings in a no-decision versus the Reds on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
Hendricks was in line for the loss when he exited, but the Angels's offense was able to get him off the hook in the late innings. In August, Hendricks has allowed 13 runs over 19.1 innings while posting a 15:8 K:BB, and he remains winless over his four starts this month. He's at a 4.93 ERA, 1.30 WHIP and 85:34 K:BB through 126 innings over 24 starts this season. The veteran right-hander is projected to make his next start on the road versus the Rangers.

Hendricks allowed five runs on six hits and three walks while striking out four batters over 3.1 innings in a no-decision against the Dodgers on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Hendricks fell behind quickly, giving up a leadoff triple to Shohei Ohtani followed by a run-scoring single by Mookie Betts. Two batters later, Will Smith got to the veteran righty for a two-run homer, setting the tone for the hurler's poor night. Hendricks did manage to rebound with a scoreless second and third frame, but he was pulled with one out in the fourth after loading the bases on two walks and an infield single, and two of the three baserunners he turned over to the bullpen came around to score. This was Hendricks' second-shortest outing of the season, trailing just his seven-run, three-inning performance against Minnesota in late April. Though he's managed to hang onto a spot in the Angels' rotation, Hendricks has submitted a poor 4.87 ERA and 1.27 WHIP through 23 starts spanning 120 innings on the campaign.

Hendricks took a no-decision Friday against the Tigers, allowing three runs on five hits and no walks in five innings. He struck out six.
EDGE Analysis
The six strikeouts were Hendricks' most since his June 17 start against the Yankees, and he was able to throw at least five innings for the 15th time in his last 17 outings. The soft-throwing veteran right-hander also managed to produce a respectable 10 whiffs on the evening, and Friday also marked his first appearance without issuing a walk since July 4 in Toronto. Hendricks still has an uninspiring 4.63 ERA and 78:28 K:BB across 116.2 innings, and he doesn't shape up as a particularly appealing fantasy streamer at home versus the first-place Dodgers next week.

Hendricks (6-8) took the loss against the White Sox on Saturday after allowing one run on four hits and two walks across five innings. He struck out two.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran right-hander surrendered a run on three hits and a walk during the second inning, but that was enough to saddle him with the loss as the Angels got shut out. Hendricks has been pitching well lately with a 3.47 ERA, 1.14 WHIP and 31:8 K:BB in 46.2 innings across his past nine starts. A tough road matchup versus Detroit is on deck next weekend.

Hendricks (6-7) allowed one run on two hits and a walk while striking out three over six-plus innings to earn the win over the Mariners on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
Hendricks was efficient, throwing 48 of 71 pitches for strikes. His last offering was taken out by Cal Raleigh to lead off the seventh inning, which ended Hendricks' start, but it was still a good performance from the veteran right-hander after he had allowed 11 runs (10 earned) over his previous three starts spanning 13.2 innings. He also came away with his first win since June 17 versus the Yankees. On the year, Hendricks has a 4.73 ERA, 1.25 WHIP and 70:26 K:BB through 106.2 innings across 20 starts. He is tentatively projected to make his next start at home versus the White Sox.

Hendricks (5-7) took the loss Tuesday against the Mets, allowing three runs on five hits and one walk in 4.2 innings. He struck out two.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran right-hander had been cruising along until the fifth inning, when the Mets tagged him for three runs on four hits during the frame. It was still the seventh consecutive start with one walk or fewer for Hendricks, but he's fanned more than five on just one occasion during this stretch. Hendricks will bring an uninspiring 4.92 ERA, 1.29 WHIP and 67:25 K:BB across 100.2 innings into his next scheduled outing, currently set to come this weekend at home versus the division-rival Mariners.

Hendricks allowed five runs (four earned) on six hits and one walk while striking out three batters over 3.2 innings in a no-decision against Texas on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Hendricks was tagged for a run in the first inning and two more in the third. He returned for the fourth but didn't make it out of the frame, as he was pulled after giving up a run-scoring double to Josh Smith. It was the sixth time over 18 starts that Hendricks has given up at least four earned runs, though this was his first such instance since June 6. The right-hander likely won't pitch again until after the All-Star break; if that's the case, he'll finish the first half of the campaign with a mediocre 4.88 ERA, 1.29 WHIP and 65:24 K:BB over 96 innings.

Hendricks took a no-decision after throwing 5.1 innings, allowing three runs on four hits with no walks while striking out two, during Friday's 4-3 loss to the Blue Jays.
EDGE Analysis
Hendricks has continued to be a consistent innings-eater for the Angels this season. Since the calendar turned to May, the 35-year-old has worked through at least five innings and hasn't allowed more than four earned runs in any start, a streak that now spans 12 starts. Encouragingly, the right-hander kept the ball in the park, only the fifth time he hasn't allowed a home run in 17 appearances, but he has yet to go back-to-back starts without giving one up. That might not bode too well for his next scheduled start, which is tentatively scheduled for Wednesday at home against the Rangers.

Hendricks allowed one run on five hits and struck out five without walking a batter over five innings in a no-decision versus the Nationals on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
Hendricks was sharp the first two times through the order, but CJ Abrams took him deep for a fifth-inning solo shot. Hendricks was pulled at 74 pitches (56 strikes), leaving with the game tied at 1-1. He had mixed results in June, allowing 13 runs (10 earned) with a 21:5 K:BB over 28 innings across his five starts during the month. That's still better than his season-long marks, which are now at a 4.66 ERA, 1.30 WHIP and 60:23 K:BB through 87 innings over 16 starts. Hendricks' next start is lined up to be at Toronto.
